Stay was good, Really small,, Perfect for two people as long as you don't want to cook anything. Neighbors were loud.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We’re so glad to hear you had a good stay! In response to your comments, the homeowner would like to share the following:We appreciate your staying at our home and are grateful that you enjoyed your time, as we aim to provide a haven right next to the beautiful Rocky Mountains! Regarding your comments, we wanted to let you know that:- We have worked to reduce noise by installing a soundproof door, though, as is always the case with condos, occasional sounds from neighboring units can still occur. We always ask all condo owners to observe quiet hours to help maintain a peaceful environment.- We’ve made sure to list the unit very accurately regarding size and amenities, and ensured that the unit is priced accordingly—much lower than most units in the area, particularly given its cozy size and prime location, right on the river and just a block from the lake and downtown. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and provide your input as we continually work to provide a great experience for all of our guests.
Located close to downtown. Just what we needed for our stay. Had everything you might need for a stay. However if you want to “cook” or eat in the room just note that there is no sink other than the bathroom to wash up. Keurig coffee maker but no coffee provided. Great coffee shop within a block or so though. It was a bit noisy with other tenants only due to the thin walls? It served the purpose of a place to rest.
We really enjoyed this spot in town and with convenient proximity to the lake, which is our reason for going every year. (We paddle and swim in the four big lakes of the area!) It was fun to walk into town for dinner, and the neighborhood of this rental was nice and quiet, with the beautiful river in the back.We were surprised that there was no icemaker or ice cube trays (since the listing included icemaker) and no window fan (when I texted the management, they let me know in advance that the box fan was broken, so we brought our own in the car with us). We were also perplexed that the TV wasn't plugged in and the nearby outlet was behind a large, heavy piece of furniture. Luckily we were there to get into the lakes, not to watch TV!The bed was comfortable, the refrigerator is big, the sitting area is cozy, there were two choices of coffeemaker (drip and Keurig), a microwave, and a bonus hot plate. The place is just as pictured. Thank you!
This little condo on the 2nd floor (of 3) is okay for two people whom are spending most of their stay outdoors. It is quite dark inside the unit, maybe some lights were burnt out. No utensils or plates provided, so hard to use micro and fridge. That would be a great addition, a long with more than 1 roll of thin TP for a 5 day stay. Minor things, overall a nice stay. Sitting by the water out back is nice. Can walk to town. 5 min drive to RMNP- make reservations.

We wish there was another Heating element in the
bathroom area. It took a while to heat this area.
Also, they should have taken out the wall, between
the bathroom lav, and the old laundry section, remove the old washer plumbing, and made it a larger area for the sink. Not much room, the way it is now.

From the owners: "Hi Tim, we appreciate your feedback as we are always looking for ways to ensure our guests have the best possible experience. While we understand that the studio unit had a smaller sink area than you would have preferred we wanted to share the following:
- We do our best to show the space and layout of the property in the listing photos. We also state the square foot on the listing so guests are aware of the size before booking.
- Additionally, there are certain zoning and HOA issues that make removing the wall prohibitive at this time.
- Fortunately, other guests have shared that the large size of the room itself, which contains comfortable lounging chairs for relaxing and viewing television as well as a small dining room set, has far exceeded their expectations.
We have worked hard to prepare the unit for our guests and always appreciate input. We look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!"

Did the job
The stay was fine, it was affordable which is why we chose this but it wasn’t the greatest for a home base with a child. Luckily we had family staying in another cabin so we didn’t spend too much time here. There were a few things tho that I feel could’ve been improved. The fridge drove me crazy, it is on an uneven floor so the fridge wouldn’t stay closed and when we would close the fridge, the freezer would pop open. The other thing is the mattress is very thick and the sheet wouldn’t stay on. We ended up just taking it off which felt yucky. The walls are thin, I would wake up to alarm clocks in other rooms and you could hear the people in the surrounding rooms. I’m sure they could hear our fussy baby at night which made me feel bad. Not that the owners can do much about that. It did the job of a place to keep our stuff and sleep at night but if your planing on spending time in the cabin rather then out and about I would consider a different place to stay.

Hi Gabriella, we appreciate your feedback and are grateful for the opportunity to host you as a guest. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
We so appreciate your feedback as our goal is always to provide the best experience for our guests. To that end:
-We had our handyman check the refrigerator, and he stated that both doors did close and stay closed properly. However, we are sorry for your experience, so we took the extra step to ensure the refrigerator is properly balanced.
-We have provided an extra thick mattress for comfort and while we have not had guests report any issues with the sheets before, we have replaced the sheets with ones that have deeper pockets to ensure this does not occur again.
-While we have implemented measures to reduce noise, some sound may still travel between units as is typical in condominium settings.
-To ensure that the expectations of guests are met, we do provide detailed descriptions and photos of the unit. While it is not a larger unit, we’re glad you found the unit served its purpose, and we hope you enjoyed the additional outdoor yard space the condo provides as it sits right next to the rapids, as well as the beauty of Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park just blocks away.
Thanks again, and we hope that you keep us in mind for your future travels!
