Wonderful ocean,whitewater & sand balcony view. About 100 steps from sand. 200 foot wide sandy beach with lifeguard station. Surfing area, marina next door with half & full day fishing boats,or take an excursion boat to Catalina, or sip coffee at one of the coffee spots & restaurants.

Take a 10 minute walk to the pier. Fishing allowed. Next to Marina with shops and restaurants, or choose from the variety of restaurants along the coast. Within easy distance of Del Mar race track & some of the finest golf courses in the world. Near Legoland and Wild Animal Park(San Diego Zoo). Facility features Hawaiian feel with waterfalls, beautiful pools, sauna, barbeques, jacuzzi's, coy fish pond, streams, etc. Right on the sand. An exquisite setting. We like this area a lot, close to the beach and has everything, this condo could use some upgrades in kitchen and furniture but overall very nice stay

Great stay close to the beach!

Great stay and so close to everything! Walking distance to food and shopping. The owner was great with communication. Really the best part is the 1 min walk down the stairs to the beach! 5 min walk to Oceanside harbor for food and tours and secured parking!

Great Location.

Everything about this place was awesome. Except.... it is in dire need of a deep cleaning and remodel. Replace the carpets at a minimum. Bea, property manager/owner was wonderful. The complex is beautiful. Check in and out was friendly and efficient. Stones throw from the beach.

Inexpensive condo

The unit is in a nice location with a decent view. When we received our VRBO notice of booking approval. We noticed it was all in Spanish and the owner had no idea that it was being sent that way. We thought that it was a scam, but it turned out to be legit. Please contact the owner to verify everything. There is no A/C just fans and open windows. It was comfortable during our stay but if it were to have been a little warmer we would have stayed somewhere else. The unit could use some updates. It is priced for what you get and the owners are very accommodating. We needed extra parking for one night and were allowed to use an open space with no charges. Thank You Bea!

Guests be carefull when you rent 1 bedroom units due to pictures from good looking unit addvertised

and you think that you get it what you saw in the add.. Actually you will be tatally disapointed when you get in. The other unit is junk, broken and will totally ruine your vacation. Lamp and blinds broken, convertible bed in living room broken, kids had to sleep on floor and etc. It's not worted what you've paid for. At the end you do not receive your full deposit back due to owner will tell you that perhaps she forgot to charge you for something else. More over, owner will always say to you that you should be happy what you get.RUDE. NOT RECOMENDING AT ALL. STAY AWAY.

In 25 years, we have had multiple positive responses and almost no negative responses. We have spent over $100,000 in just the last six years keeping our units in excellent condition. There is almost nothing comparable to our facility at the ocean's edge.

Great location 2 min walk to beach!

Very nice location and grounds. Condo was nice but could use a deep cleaning such as the carpets, couch,etc. We had one issue with the shower head popping off the first time we used the shower and noticed that the frame around the spray head was cracked. We were able to put it back in place and it did come off several times during our stay but not too big of a deal. Condo was nice and open and we pretty much left the window in the bedroom and the sliding door in the living room open all the time as we were so close to the beach that we could enjoy the sounds of the waves all night! I would definitely recommend staying here and we will book it again for our next trip!

Great Location, but needs deep cleaning

We had difficulty contacting the owner an older person who seemed to have trouble maneuvering the internet. She seemed really nice and genuine. The actual condo is unkempt and neglected. Stacks of dishes in all cupboards dusty everywhere dust caked on the ceiling fans, everything had a greasy film on it, we spent an hour cleaning when we arrived to make our stay possible. Dirt is ground into all the upholstery. I think this property could be updated to make it more livable. The location is fabulous, the gym and pools of the facility are great. We felt safe there.

Great location

Great communication with prompt responses from the owner. The unit itself with older furniture/bedding/cooling fan/dishes/silverware but if you’re looking for close to beach location it is great! Beautiful partial ocean view from the balcony .

Pros: 1. Location Cons: 1. Very dated furniture and everything else. I am not exageratting when I say the bedspread is probably 20 years old. 3. The facility is to be "nonsmoking" which was a joke. All day, everyday we smelled smoke coming straight into our place. We had to keep the windows open for air, due to no AC. We called the guards and they said there was nothing they can do. Why have the rule and not enforce it? We left one day early due to this. I told this to the owners and didn't hear one thing back from them. 3. The gym is awful. NO air at all, the ellipticals have 1 channel to watch and you get no Wifi. If I was paying the homeowners due I would be livid. 4. The "A" building must be the stepchild. If you walk across the street it is so lush, waterfall, koi pond, huge pool. Nothing like that is on the side of this condo. 5. The directions they send are awful. They need to revamp them and they need to put paragraphs of bullets in.

This is a great location with lots to do and most of it in walking distance. The condo is cleaned and comfortable. Has two great pools and ping pong table and pool tables, my kids and I really had a great time. People in the area are very friendly.

The condo had everything I needed for a month's vacation

I could see the ocean from the balcony of this condo or walk 1/2 a block to enjoy the beach. I never worried about my safety at the complex - 24 hour security plus locked gates. It felt like visiting an old friend - everything I needed was at the condo. I especially liked that I didn't have to use the stairs, the elevator to the parking garage was steps away. The complex is beautiful and kept spotless.

The complex is in a tropical setting of ponds, streams,waterfalls and lush plants;providing 2 heated pools and jacuzzies in grotto settings. There is a full gym, game room w/billiard tables, table tennis,large card and party room, putting green and BBQ areas for all to enjoy...Ocean Fishing to Marina next door. Right on the Beach-perfect spot for great price!

Really loved our experience at this condo. The view was great from the balcony and it really was steps to the beach. Would stay at this place again. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. Everything we needed was in the condo. There are things inside that could be updated such as current listing of restaurants and purchase of new boards, but who really cares about these small things. If you are looking for a more inexpensive place in Oceanside right on the beach-this is the place. Would highly recommend! Thanks for great stay.

Great Oceanside stay

My husband, 9 month old daughter and I stayed for 12 days. The owners were a pleasure to work with and the condo was great! I vacationed in Oceanside at North Coast for several years growing up and this was a wonderful return with my family. Great beach access, charming condo -- relatively kid friendly. Kitchen was pretty well-stocked, great since we cooked most meals in. Quiet, great views. Couldn't have asked for more for our dollar! I would love to come again!!

Great place to stay!

My wife and I recently stayed in this unit and had a great experience. Renovations have been helpful, location next to and overlooking the beach and pier area is phenomenal. Outdoor barbeques for the units was helpful, the unit was well stocked with equipment, furniture and kitchenware. Walkway along the water right outside the unit, extending beyond the pier, is a real plus. Beaches are great, location is near a lot but off the main flow of traffic and most noise. Owners were very helpful and informative on local highlights. We are already missing our time there, and would definitely rent it again as we enjoyed the unit and love Oceanside area.

Last Minute reservation!

I made a last minute decision to visit my son at Camp Pendleton. I found the rental by accident surfing the web. What a wonderful find. The owners were great to work with, especially at the last minute. They were helpful and gracious (I decided at the last minute to stay an extra day and they were very accommodating). I had a wonderful view off the balcony, and was just steps from the beach. I will definitely be back. Thank you for an enjoyable vacation with my son.

Great Place!

My family and I decided to vacation in Oceanside, CA this year and we could not of have been more pleased with this place! We decided to stay in Oceanside, because it is near San Diego and to a rural west Texan a short distance to LA as well. We visited both cities and a lot of cities in between. The condo is situated within walking distance from the "The Strand" which is a popular beach area and the pier. It is also within walking distance to Oceanside Harbor which has several good restaurants and nice scenery. The condo itself is very pleasant with an ocean view from the balcony. The condo is fully loaded without a need to take anything but yourself and clothing. We loved having the windows opened at night which made for a pleasant and cool sleeping atmosphere. The other residents at the condo kept noise to a minimum in the evening. We were able to use both swimming pools and Jacuzzi's along with the grilling area. The owners made the experience pleasant and had our best interest in mind. This is a great place and we look forward to coming back to visit soon!

A lifelong guest that will definitely be returning!

This Condo was exactly what we were looking for. Very nice, spacious, fully loaded kitchen. Two TV's. Pull out couch and private room, so that are kids were separate from us. Completely remodeled and beautiful inside and out. The grounds at North Coast Village are very tropical with Koi ponds and lush landscaping. The patio has a beautiful view of the ocean and the bedroom as well. The patio has a table and chairs where you can eat outside and enjoy the weather and the view. The owner has equipped the condo with almost everything you need (even things that you might have forgotten at home). We have stayed in three different units/same owners at different times and have been coming since our children were little and absolutely love our stay every time! Oh, also the pool and jacuzzi are amazing with ocean views from the pool as well. You exit the pool and you are literally steps from the sand! Parking is great too! It is gated with 24hour security. I highly recommend staying at North Coast Village!

Excellent location, very comfortable, well equipped in beautiful well maintained grounds!

We loved this location! The pools, hot tubs and beach are all very nice, and the condo was nicely furnished and equipped. We really enjoyed Oceanside- be sure to visit the Flying Pig restaurant, recommended by owners. We toured a winery, went Whale Watching - I highly recommend Captain Dave's- checked out Old Town, hiking and more. It was very affordable, as we cooked many meals on the BBQ grills available on the grounds or in the kitchen. San Diego is a beautiful area with no shortage of activities. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with.
