This stylish home has the feel of an upscale “B&B at the beach.” Situated on the sea, a mere 1 minute stroll to the sand, (<10 minute walk to the pier), it is located in the *highly desirable* Building E (closest to the ocean) at North Coast Village Resort. This home offers glorious vistas of the waves and beach from its front room, bedroom, and terrace. Positioned on the coveted south-facing side, the condo features fabulous light---as opposed to the other side of the building facing the harbor which doesn’t see the sun until mid-afternoon.

Completely updated and redecorated in 2017 by one of San Diego’s top Interior Designers, the condo’s beach-vibe décor offers a soothing palette of turquoise, aquamarine, and sea-glass green, as well as high quality furniture, light fixtures, and high–end fabrics that echo the comfort and relaxation of Southern Cali’s coastal lifestyle. The owners (who live 20 minutes away and are in the wine business) use this second home not only as a beach hideaway, but for entertaining. There are several sets of upscale dishes, beach-appropriate linens, and good stemware so that even casual beach meals can be special. Moreover, the owners have lived in Europe and many of the items in this home have been brought back from the Mediterranean beaches.

This home is only one of a handful at North Coast Village with hardwood floors throughout the unit. The floor plan offers a totally open concept among the kitchen, dining, front room and sea-view terrace. An entire wall of floor to ceiling mirrors further maximizes the sea-view from nearly every angle of the large open space. The modernized kitchen features a sea-glass tile back-splash. A new small bar features 2 bar stools and can be used for quick meals or extra seating for a larger dinner party. The dining area features a glass-topped table for 4. But, the best table in the house is the glorious 180 degree panoramic terrace with another eating area that can seat 4-5.

The bedroom also has been renovated. One can lie in bed and marvel at vistas of the ocean and beach. (Like the front room, an entire wall of floor to ceiling mirrors has been added to maximize the view of the Pacific from every inch of the room). There are two comfortable queen beds in the spacious bedroom. Ralph Lauren linen completes the impeccable picture for relaxing and sleeping in style. The bathroom was also recently updated with the addition of a *walk-in* shower. Storage has been added to maximize space.

This unit comes with a FREE parking space in a secured garage directly under the building. There is a SMART TV in the unit with FREE Netflix. There's a newly renovated GYM on the premises, along with a sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. For those who like to read, there's a library filled with paperbacks and hardbacks...along with a plethora of magazines. The condo is also stocked with all the needed beach equipment - boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, coolers for picnics, and toys for the kids.

In short, this tony little gem is for the discerning traveler. You won’t find another beachside condo at North Coast Village with these high-end personal touches. It is not a corporate rental or an impersonal investment property. It’s an up-market home filled with tender loving care and warmth.

OCEANSIDE & SURROUNDING AREA:
Oceanside is located 35 miles north of San Diego on some of the best beaches of southern California. Its historical pier is one of the longest wooden piers on the West Coast. The city is perfectly situated for visiting not only the many splendors of San Diego, but of spots such as Disneyland (58 miles), Hollywood (88 miles), or even Mexico (the border is only 55 miles away).

If you like wine, the Temecula wine district is <35 miles. For foodies, there’s a weekly Oceanside Farmer’s Market on Thursday mornings (<10 minute walk) featuring a cornucopia of locally grown produce, as well as local food products & crafts. Thursday night this same area in downtown Oceanside offers a foodie’s market with outside food stalls for grazing. Last but not least, the Amtrak train stops in Oceanside which makes getting to downtown San Diego a breeze, or you can take the train north to LA and be in the heart of the downtown without the hassle of traffic in 2 hours.

NORTH COAST VILLAGE RESORT:
Located directly on a pristine beach, the highly sought after resort complex evokes the feeling of Hawaii. Acres of lush tropical gardens are filled with year-around blooming flowers in a rainbow of colors. Waterfalls and a pond filled with exotic fish complete the idyllic South Sea island feel. The breath-taking swimming pool is said to have been designed to replicate the pool at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion in Hollywood. The resort offers an outdoor Jacuzzi, a putting green, as well as an exercise room. There’s also a plethora of well-maintained outdoor BBQs for grilling, and an excellent laundry facility in each building.

The famous Oceanside Pier & downtown Oceanside (with some of the best gastro-pubs along the coast) is an 9-10 minute walk, or the pretty restaurant-lined harbor is only a 6-7 minute stroll. The train is a 12 minute walk which means you can avoid any traffic to downtown San Diego. While the unit comes with a FREE indoor secured parking space, there is little need to ever move your car.

Great Location
This is a cozy condo, perfect for beach vacation. I have grown up in this area and know it very well and stay in this complex when I come back. This one bedroom, was great for hubby and myself. Although, dusty, that was probable due to no one had been there maybe in a bit, the clocks were still not changed for when the time changed happened like a month ago, so I'd imagine that is why. But, overall would go back and have shared this listing with others.

Perfect stay!
What a wonderful time we had in Oceanside for our anniversary celebration! June's property is at an outstanding location and the condo is beautifully appointed with everything you would need for a stay. We took lovely beach walks and walks to town every morning and enjoyed the local ambiance and laid back culture of Oceanside. I love how you can walk one direction to the harbor and marina, and the other to the pier/town. No need to have a car for most of your trip! Thank you for a lovely stay at North Coast Village. We will definitely book again!

We live 20 minutes away and are in the wine business. This is our second home but we use it frequently for entertaining clients and guests. There are several sets of upscale dishes, beach-appropriate linens, and good stemware---we want even casual beach meals to be special. As we have lived in Europe, many of the items in our "Pied a Mer" (French for beach vacation home) have been brought back from the Mediterranean beaches.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location! We bought this unit entirely for the view of the sea which is visible from every room, and especially compelling from the terrace which offers a 180 panorama. Our unit is one of only a handful of units in the entire development with hardwood floors. We also love the open floor plan (kitchen, dining room & front room are all open to each other), as well as floor to ceiling mirrors in each room which maximize the sea-view from every angle of the apartment.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location! We are perfectly positioned steps from the beach and the swimming pool (yet far enough away from the pool that it doesn't disturb us.) Our unit is on the sunny side and is flooded with wonderful light most of the day. We love the fact that we can view both the fabulous tropical gardens as well as the sea....a winning combination.
