Welcome to Robert’s House, an ocean front two bedroom home circa 1820. The house is located on Grand Turk - a 30 min flight from Providenciales. Listen to the waves as you lounge in the warm sun or watch the sun set while enjoying an evening cocktail. This relaxing Caribbean getaway offers privacy, paradise and tranquility. Diving and snorkeling is available right off the beach! The house is steps away from local restaurants and activities. Grand Turk offers historical buildings, cool breezes, perfect beaches and friendly “hellos” everywhere you go. Hello! Thank you for checking out our listing! Simon is originally from Scotland and myself, from Toronto, Canada where we met. We have been living in Ottawa since 2001. We are both self employed and enjoy working from the comforts of home. We are also parents of two (so far, loving) teenagers. Simon works as an independent accounts manager for several local companies and I, Bernadette, work in my studio creating designs for clothing and home. We have traveled to West Coast Canada but have also visited Simon's family in Scotland and, just recently, my family in the Philippines. We have been visiting Turks and Caicos for almost two decades! We enjoy the great weather and friendly, easy going locals. Although we've had amazing fun in Providenciales, GRAND TURK is where we now enjoy our holidays. During our visits to Turks and Caicos, we've enjoyed family holidays, a wedding, and contributing to the renovation of new homes and Inne for others to enjoy.

Why they chose this property
The house is located on Grand Turk where island life is quieter and more serene. The locals are friendly - the beaches and ocean warm and welcoming . The home serves as a vacation haven (along with 'Simon's House' next door) for us and our closest relatives residing mostly in Canada and Scotland. The family has owned property on Providenciales but life there although fun and exciting, has gotten too busy. We all now love the seclusion of Grand Turk and it's welcoming and friendly people.
