Spacious Airy Beachfront House on Grand Turk

Come stay on a tropical beach in a spacious 3 bedroom, only a short walk from Cockburn Town on the lovely peaceful island of Grand Turk. Breathtaking views, a wonderful beach, superb swimming, diving and snorkeling are right outside your front door. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from your deck. The combination of fun, informal restaurants, expert dive shops, friendly locals, and a relaxed pace of living makes a vacation in Grand Turk uniquely appealing. A trip to Grand Turk transports you back to the 'Old Caribbean,' before big hotels, high rises and crowds of tourists.

This house is right on the water, so enjoy dazzling water views all day, and relax with a drink or dinner while watching beautiful sunsets. The beach has small tidal pools, shade and (usually) gentle waves. No need to worry about 'reserving a beach chair' on Grand Turk. Instead, miles of virtually empty beaches on the western shore offer a tranquility that is hard to find in the modern world.

This house is part of Island Passage, which has this three bedroom, a cottage (listing number 932470), and a one bedroom unit which is not available for rental.

The spacious house has an open plan with a large living/dining room and a spacious kitchen which also has a peninsula to perch at. Ceiling fans and air conditioning in every room help you keep your cool. There is a large master bedroom, and two smaller bedrooms, both with queen beds. There is a large deck with a fabulous view down the beach, and shaded area with chairs and a table for yet another dining area. One of our repeat guests said in a review, "If you’re looking for a beautiful and very well equipped kitchen, a large dining area with comfortable chairs, 2 fabulous large sitting areas with comfortable couches, good beds in rooms with their own AC I’m each room, and lots of homey decor that makes this feel like a home, than this place is for you."

The fenced in yard protects the landscaping from wandering horses and cows. It is literally a few steps through your gate to the shade of the Casuarina trees on the beach. You can beachcomb and snorkel in front of the house, get picked up by a dive boat for a fantastic experience on Grand Turk's Wall, stroll into town (150 yards away) to wander down Duke Street, or rent a bike or car or hire a taxi to go a little further afield.

This house is amazing - right on the beach. The water is beautiful, you can snorkel right from shore, and the views are amazing. The house has everything you need and is clean and well-maintained. The property manager, Anita, is great and makes everything easy. We will definitely be back!

Great spot right on the beach, enjoyed our morning visits from the donkeys. Beach is a little rocky right in front of the house but walk down the beach 100 feet and there is a beautiful Sandy area to enjoy. Great sunsets every night.

We loved the beach out the front door, the animals roaming around, and the location of the property in relation to things to do. The house is perfect for a family getaway. It is right on the beach and an easy walk to most restaurants. Anita was able to arrange for a golf cart for us for the week and had a taxi waiting at the airport when we arrived!

Communication with Anita excellent as always, even with a very late flight coming in.The house has lots of space and amenities and a great fit for our family. We have stayed many times in the cottage, but the house was perfect for this visit. You cannot beat the beach front location a short walk to everything you need.!

Great for family getaways

Our third or fourth time here - sometimes with just adults but there is a cottage on the property and our adult children with new baby have stayed there so they were with us but had much needed space and privacy! The very spacious and comfortable house is right on the beach and is as private as you want it to be. Close to restaurants and has a great kitchen , as well as inside and deck dining areas.

Grand Turk

Our vacation on Grand Turk was completely amazing. The location of this property is perfect. There is nothing like the calmness of the ocean and the vibe of the island. Ray, Liz and Anita were absolutely wonderful to us. They are great people. We also met a lot of Islanders, I have to say they are all so friendly and kind. We went parasailing and did a snorkeling excursion and both were wonderful. I would highly recommend this place and would come back to Grand Turk in a heartbeat. If you travel to Grand Turk please feed the donkeys and give any leftovers to the pot-cakes they love leftovers. .

We loved our stay at Island Passage! Great house, fantastic location. It was very hot while we were there, so the A/C was a welcome sleep aid. Fully equipped kitchen so we did not have to go out for every meal, although there are a few restaurants within walking distance. We will have some wonderful memories of this trip.

Perfect Grand Turk Getaway

We had the best trip! The house was perfect for our group of six. We just walked out the back door onto the beach. We cooked almost every day and the kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed. The beds were cozy. And the living room was perfect for reading or playing cards after a great day outside. The house is a short walk to the Osprey and the Sandbar for drinks and meals. We will definitely be back!

Relax relax relax!

We loved our stay on Grand Turk. When we got back from our trip, my husband said that your home had probably ruined us - it was just so perfect for us. Easy easy living. Thank you so much for hosting us and sharing this lovely spot. I wish I’d written this review when we got back, but somehow time got away from me (by months and months!)… but better late than never!

Grand Turk is a piece of the old Caribbean. Slow paced, friendly, and very relaxed. A bathing suit, a cover up and some flip flops are all the clothes you need for your vacation here. Step out of the rush of modern life, listen to the waves, feel the sea breeze and feel yourself in the moment.

What makes this property unique

The location of this property is perfect! Right on the beach, just far enough away from the main drag that you feel secluded, but a 2 minute walk to the bars and restaurants and dive shops when you are ready to get up off that lounge chair!
