About this property

Play all day then come home to a modern camp to relax & rejuvinate

Camp Tucked Away is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath camp set on a knoll in the Cranberry Lake area.

Welcome to the 3rd largest lake in the Adirondack Park for boating, swimming, and kayaking. The Oswegatchie and Grasse Rivers offer great fishing as well . Hike around the lake or into the Five Ponds Wilderness area. In the winter enjoy snowmobiling, skiing, ice fishing and snowshoeing. When you are done come "home" to camp to enjoy the comforts of a jetted tub, a BBQ on the deck or just relax by the fire.

The camp offers 3 bedrooms with 1.5 baths and comfortably sleeps 6. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the second bedroom, and a king bed in the loft bedroom. Enjoy the jetted tub in the main bath after a full day of activities to relax and replenish your tired muscles.

Step upstairs to the loft area where an interior balcony overlooks the main living area or enjoy the beauty of the woods through the large upper windows. Enter the loft bedroom to find a king bed and half bath.

Cook your meals in a fully equipped kitchen with all the creature comforts of home. You will enjoy the automatic ice maker and water dispenser built into the refrigerator. With access to a Keurig coffee machine, 12-cup drip coffee maker, waffle iron, blender, microwave, baking basics (flour, sugar, brown sugar, etc.), spices, pots, pans, and cookie sheets you can create food and drinks to suit your tastes.

Step from the open concept kitchen and living area onto the deck or screened in porch to enjoy the sounds of the woods. Use the grill to BBQ or just relax in an Adirondack chair. If it is too cold to enjoy the deck area stay inside and enjoy the warmth of the wood stove. You can watch TV with Netflix or YouTube TV. A nook off the living area gives guests a place to read or work on their laptop. Wifi throughout the camp connects guests to the internet and their social media feeds. A nearby cell tower offers excellent coverage for your cell phone.

If you like less connected activities then enjoy the board games, puzzles, cards and books. A separate family room on the lower level is perfect for the kids to play with toys, watch a movie, or play a game.

Camp Tucked Away lets you enjoy the wilderness while coming "home" to the conveniences of a modern camp.

Expectations Exceeded!
Pictures do tell 1000 words. Walking into the property.... smiles abound. The pictures are lovely but not sure justice is done by them. LOVE the house, furnishings and decor. So much that discovered where the balsam pillows were made and bought three to bring home as a treasure. Thank you Paul and Amy for being a part of our Adirondack experience!

Perfect Adirondacks in the trees
This is a perfect home to experience the essence of the Adirondack Mountains. The home is set on a hill nestled in a tower of trees; filtering in rays of sunshine and on a rainy day singing a quiet symphony of raindrops through the trees. The house is beautifully decorated with an old time lake home feel, but you do not want for any modern appliance. Beautiful!!

Why they chose this property

My wife and I looked for a property in the Adirondack park for over three years. We started our search in Cranberry Lake then expanded to other parts of the park. Somehow the Cranberry Lake area kept calling us back. Finding this camp was exactly what we were looking for. It gave us access to a fabulous lake, hiking in wilderness areas, fishing, winter sports availability, and a great place to relax while unplugging.

What makes this property unique

The screened porch with the full size swing where you can stretch out and listen to the woods was the one thing that made us fall in love with the place. Our ability to launch our boat in the lake and spend the day exploring forever wild shoreline or dropping in a line for fishing makes for a relaxing day. It was the lack of commercialism and development in the Cranberry Lake area that was the biggest selling point for us.
