Whaler's Point, located in a very prestigious gated community a short distance south of central Seaside, is the perfect romantic getaway. Get a babysitter and come to this elegant home with a 180-degree view from Tillamook Head to Astoria. Treat your loved ones to a special meal prepared in the kitchen and served with candles at the dining room table or in front of the fire. The master bedroom has a king bed, a bath with a jetted tub, and marble and granite everywhere. The views are to die for! There is a second bedroom with a queen bed and bath looking out onto a private garden. It's situated on a cliff above a whitewater cove (the cliff is the reason we recommend against children staying here). You could see a whale or an eagle from your vantage point. If you want to impress someone you love, this is the place.

The house was really clean & comfortable & well stocked and the view of the ocean was amazing. We also really enjoyed the little downtown area in Seaside and the beach. We were originally going to stay in Cannon Beach, but are glad we close Seaside instead. Cannon Beach has a beautiful waterfront, but Seaside had more little shops and restaurants to wander around in during the evening.

This cozy beach condo was perfect for our honeymoon getaway! The location is unbeatable — close to Seaside and Cannon Beach — and the ocean view is absolutely stunning. Everything was spotless and so peaceful, which made for such a relaxing stay. Check-in was a breeze, and we noticed that previous concerns (like the broken microwave handle) have been fixed, which shows the owners really care for the property.The king bed is very firm, so just a heads-up if you prefer a softer mattress, and the washer is a little loud — but neither took away from how much we enjoyed our time here. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet beach escape!

This place was so clean, the view from the bedroom and the living room was awesome and you could watch surfers right there. The customer service was so great as well! The beds were pretty firm but all was well. Oh, and you can walk out the front door, out the gate and there is a hiking trail head right there!

Fantastic Getaway

Scenic property @ Whalers Point was ideal for our getaway. Gorgeous sunsets from the deck added to our enjoyment. Gentle deer passing along the edge of the property was an added bonus. Would definitely return.

Well appointed right down to binoculars to enjoy the view. Nice outdoor chairs and tables to lounge and have a drink and snacks. Easy access and quiet. We found the beds a bit hard so maybe bring a topper if you don’t like firm/hard beds. Great stay and would go back.

Great Cozy and Clean

Very clean, beautiful views but note there is no beach access. Location is close to everything. Kitchen very well stocked. Check in process was confusing. Rented through VRBO but emails were from vacasa. Didn’t receive check in info or identity check emails. Also house keeping barged in the front door 30 minutes before check out with no warning. Still….great property and worth five stars.

The place wasn't clean. Popcorn found in and around the couch. Microwave was busted up. Heater vents and baseboards were filfy and the outside of the stove was greasy and dirty. Furniture is very uncomfortable. Won't be back.

The condo was filthy. The floors were dirty, had a layer of dirt or dust on them. The windows were dirty. We had to clean. The entire house smelled like mold/mildew- seemed like it was the carpets. No amount of fresh air helped clear it out.The blind in bedroom was broken and stuck open. Sun coming in at 530 made it impossible to sleep past that time and lights coming in at night from spot light in yard.The bed was falling apart- every time you moved it squeaked. Microwave handle was broken so we did not want to use it.We had 4 nights booked and left after one. Vacasa stopped responding to messages after I notified them we were leaving early.

Painters werent invited

It was not pleasant waking up and having breakfast with strange men lookingvin the bedrroom window and livingroom door., after our first nights sleep. Then to have the laddrers and drop cloths blockingvour main door. When we complained, and were assured they would be moved along, we came back 2 hours later to find them still there. Our first full day was totally disrupted (we only had a few days). This unit has damages, that are taped off, broken tiles, and the furniture is very old and water stained and stained by scrub marks. Not near the quality of the last unit we stayed in at the Whalers, although the rent was similar. The day we lost, staying away from the unit, while there were painters poking around , should have been reimbursed. We asked to be moved, but the management assured us the painters would be gone by the time we returned. We never should have had to leave, and then come backbto 2 more hours of "wrapping up:.".

Pretty amazing views. You have two choices in this area: to stay right in town walkable to anywhere, or stay out of town and hope for some amazing views of the ocean. We went for the ocean and were NOT disappointed.

We had two couples staying and the place was perfect for us! It was a very cold and rainy three day stay, so we loved the water and sky views when we were inside. The gas fireplace was cheerful and warm went a long way to create a cozy atmosphere. My husband and I have rented lodgings all over the world and have never seen such a well-equipped kitchen for cooks. There was no one else staying nearby while we were there, so all was very quiet and peaceful. We also loved that the unit is directly across from the Tillamook Head trailhead. Highly recommend this home for views, comfort and kitchen. A wonderful place if you want to be out of town!

A beautiful retreat

We enjoyed the quiet, beautiful neighborhood during our stay. The view was spectacular and the location was perfect-off the beaten path but close enough to bike or drive to restaurants or to the beach. We highly recommend!

Pure Peace

Location was awesome just across the street was a hiking trail had views and the sound of the ocean in the back ground absolutely beautiful. The unit was equipped with all the needs for cooking and more. The management company was amazing and I would love to come back to the unit in the future, pictures don’t do it justice!
