Byers Peak View Family Getaway

Please note that I need at least 24 hours between booking and the start of your stay to allow for the place to be properly cleaned.

Located in the Winter Park Lodge II complex this two bedroom/two bath condo has real beds to sleep 6 people. It is on the second floor with stair access.

The master bedroom suite has a queen bed, dresser, two night stands, closet, and attached bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed, bunk bed (twin/twin), night stand, closet, and dresser. The common bathroom has a full size tub with shower.

The great room has a couch, recliner, HDTV with cable/Netflix/Hulu, dining table for 6 and counter seating for 3 more.

Clean bed linens, bath towels, soap (no shampoo), kitchen towels, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, dishwasher tablets, and trash bags are included.

Our family uses this condo during the ski season so the kitchen has a full complement of pots, frying pans, mixing bowls, and baking pans. Kitchen appliances include a full size range with oven, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, crock pot, mixer, popcorn popper, and blender. Service for 6 people. Also included are coffee filters, spice rack, flour, sugar, salt, and pepper.

There is a small washer and dryer located in the unit. Larger coin laundry on the ground floor of the building if you need to wash big items like coats.

Indoor bike storage is located on the ground floor of the building. No hauling bikes up the stairs, and no need to leave them on the car. Key access to the common bike room with bike racks. Bring your own locks.

Outdoor hot tub is open year round and outdoor swim pool is open late May to mid September. Please note that the Condo Complex management company has a security camera at the pool and spa area.

Locking ski/board storage for the unit is on the ground floor. No need to haul your equipment up the stairs.

Located 500 yards from the bus stop at Safeway gives you convenient access to the Black, Emerald, and Purple bus lines (check out the LiftRider app for schedules) to get to the ski area and around the valley. Beyond Safeway it is a short walk to Fraser's best dining.

Awesome Condo

Great condo. It was perfect for our family of 5. The views in the morning and late afternoon are spectacular. I will absolutely consider staying here again next time we come back to Winter Park.

Great View and a cozy getaway!

The condo was very convenient to the Fraser Valley with a beautiful walk on the Fraser River just down the block. Everything was very clean and very comfortable. Loved the view of Byers peak!

Fun Getaway!

Great little place for a last minute mountain getaway. Reasonably priced. The owner was great and really quick to answer questions and communicated effectively. The pool is currently closed to short-term renters, but open for long term renters and owners which we didn't realize, and we were quickly asked to leave. The on-site property manager has both eyes on short term guests, which was our only complaint. Overall though, great experience!

Last minute get away for 2 adults and 3 teens

Well maintained property and met our needs. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes/pots/pans/utensils/towels/garbage bags. Kitchen appliances are modern and in good working condition. Master bathroom/walk in-shower is small but usable. Second bathroom is larger with tub/shower combo. Nice view of mountains from living room/balcony. Swivel recliner chair next to living room window was very comfortable for both reading and looking outside at the mountain range. Very convenient to Safeway grocery store (within walking distance) and U.S. Highway 40. We spent most of our time in Grand Lake, Monarch Lake (beautiful and only $5 entry fee), and Rocky Mtn. National Park (book your timed entry reservation a few weeks ahead of time because we almost didn't get in at all that week unless we arrived before 6am or after 5pm. They open up limited time slots 48 hours ahead of time but I had to be online just before 8am to get one because they would sell out in about 5 minutes). We were there in early August during a hot week and with no A/C or fans, it got kind of warm in the bedrooms at night. I'm sure most of the year it is not an issue though. Walls/floors are somewhat thin so we could hear the neighbors and they could hear us. Property owner was easy to work with and very responsive. Overall, we had a very nice vacation and we love this beautiful area of Colorado!

Great spot near winter park

This was an overall great property and value. It is very conveniently located close to a Safeway and restaurants and bars. The kitchen is well-stocked and the place was very clean. It was perfect for a group of three and we were able to get to the slopes within 10 minutes. Would definitely stay here again, thank you Larry for a great stay

Just Like Home

This property is everything it said it was. Conveniently located near a grocery store, dining, shops and ski shuttle. The view of Fraser and the mountains from the balcony was beautiful. The condo was comfy and cozy and had all the amenities of home. Larry made the entire process super simple. We will definitely look this place up again and I recommend it highly to anyone visiting that area

Amazing And Clean Condo

The location was perfect for skiing at Winter Park with tubing just across the highway. The condo was very clean and perfect for 6 of us. Larry responded almost immediately to all of my questions and resolved them just as quickly. I would highly recommend staying at this condo.

Fourth of July fun

We took the train from Denver and stayed here. It was a quick walk from the train station and Safeway, which was awesome since we didn’t have a car. The grocery and shuttle stop we’re both easy and convenient. Larry was easy to contact and work with. He was flexible with us. The place was perfect for our small family of 3 but could handle more. We look forward to staying again sometime.

Great and clean

Condo was great and very clean. We had everything we needed for cooking and beds were very comfortable. Larry was great and helpful in troubleshooting the WiFi issues we had. I will definitely use his condo again for a ski trip at Winter Park.

AFTER YOU ADD FEES IN TO THE RATE, YOU ARE PAYING QUITE A BIT FOR A VERY SMALL PLACE. IT IS FAIRLY OUTDATED, BUT THE REAL PROBLEM WAS THE INABILITY TO BLOCK OUT NOISES. THERE WERE PEOPLE STOMPING ON STAIRS AND BANGING AROUND ALL NIGHT.

We are lifelong skiers and bikers. After many years of dreaming we finally scraped together enough money to buy a vacation home. Although we ski nearly every weekend, when we can't visit the mountains we try to share our place with others.

Why they chose this property

After many years visiting Winter Park we have stayed at a lot of different condos and hotels. Our place is close to the grocery store and is served by three bus lines to the ski area. So after the drive from Denver we can park the car until it is time to go home. There are several condo complexes in the immediate area and we chose this one because it has the best view of the area.

What makes this property unique

Incredible View! More kitchen stuff than most places. Pots, pans, cups, plates, utensils, blender, mixer, crock pot, coffee maker, popcorn popper, real kitchen knives, baking pans.
