You gotta stay here

The property is exactly as pitched Cleanliness and supplies were good I give it 9.5 out of 10 only because parking is an issue if that is how you arrive Also the en suite shower stall was slippery so we used the bath mat inside Nothing onerous Location is well within three metro stations, st Catherine's bistros and restaurants, supermarket one block away, shopping mall four blocks west But the three day metro pass

Perfect Location

The house worked perfectly for my family, which included my 22-and 24-year-old children. We spent most of our days exploring the city, but did play games in the living room at night. As others have noted, the house is only a block away from a street lined with restaurants and stores. We chose to drive to the locations we visited; we did have to pay to enter the parking garage near the house despite the “$20.00 per day notice.” We sometimes spent $40.00 to $60.00. Public transportation would have solved that issue. As for distance from the sites, the house is perfectly situated. I don’t think we drove more than 15 minutes to visit the ones on our list. We were pleased.

Good location & great host; some disadvantages

We stayed 4 nights mid-week in August. The property owner Robert was very responsive and helpful. We were able to park our car in his garage 2 blocks away which was nice. One of the toilets had a small leak which he fixed very quickly and left us a gift for the trouble. The air conditioning functioned well and helped us get through some hot and humid days in August. The location was very convenient for walking to downtown shopping areas and fairly close to a couple of metro stops. Note a few disadvantages: - No dining room, so a bit tricky to eat meals - The walls etc between this unit and the one above it are quite thin so we heard all the footsteps and much of the conversation of the people staying above which proved a bit inconvenient when those people stayed up later than we wanted too. - The 2 "bedrooms" in the basement don't have doors and the basement smells a bit musty so those with mold allergy/sensitivity should beware.

Best Place to stay on Montreal

Rob was wonderful, readily available and helpful and the property had EVERYTHING you could possibly need in a vacation apartment. The place was super clean, super quiet and everything we wanted to do was within walking distance... We would definitely stay here again !

Great space; awesome location

This was a great space for our family. Plenty of room and could’ve accommodated even more people very easily. Rob is great to deal with and very responsive, though we didn’t need anything during our stay. The best part is the location. Close to multiple Metro stops, supermarkets, and tons of great restaurants. We would stay there again if we ever make another visit!

Montreal Center condo

This property was fantastic! Our host Rob was great and responded fairly quickly with any questions. Perfect for three teens and two adults. Everything was clean and it was nice to have basic things provided (towels, shampoo, paper towels, kitchen items). The beds were comfortable and although we are on a busy street in the am, night time traffic doesn’t exist. It’s very safe to walk around and grab dinner or go to the grocery. On an aside: we were in town for Canada day. Rob informed us about going to a fireworks display in Old Montreal which we did. The next morning there was a Canada Day parade which was setting up on our street. What an amazing display of unity between ethnicity and celebrating Canadian heritage! We truly enjoyed walking, cycling and taking the metro to places (int’l jazz festival). So many wonderful restaurants nearby as well. Overall, I recommend this property!
