The cabin was ideal for a party of 12. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the deck.: the view was unbelievably beautiful. The family enjoyed the game room and had a pool tournament one night. The management company was very attentive, calling several times during the visit to check on us.
Very nice home on a mountain road just outside the Smokey Mountains. We enjoyed our stay at Dancing Bear. Very clean, lots of indoor and outdoor seating on a wrap around porch. Our family enjoyed the gas fire pit and hot tub.A very well stocked kitchen and all appliances worked well. The down side was no storage for groceries. We loved seeing a bear on the road near our deck and watched him while he meandered his way onto the neighbors property.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled you enjoyed your stay and the serene setting. We appreciate your suggestion regarding storage for groceries. Have a great day!
The cabin was absolutely beautiful! The views are amazing! It is well stocked with everything you need. Great communication with the management! We have stayed in many cabins in Gatlinburg and this one was by far our favorite! We will definitely plan on staying here again!
Wonderful place, beds super comfortable, amazing outdoor firepit, view was beautiful. Could have used a little more dusting and vacuuming but we would definitely be repeat visitors
Spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen and game room, beautiful scenery and overlook, big deck with plenty of chairs, fabulous propane fire pit, spacious bedrooms with king size beds and full bathrooms. Most importantly there was a large dining room table where we could all sit together and share meals and stories and play games.
Absolutely amazing, it was everything I had hoped for and more! The lodge was just awesome. I can’t even imagine the scenic views and the wildlife we were able to take in. We had multiple visitors from the family of bears! That was just the great
Property was as described. Fantastic view. We had power outages due to severe cold weather - rolling black outs. Host stayed in communication throughout. Ended up not being a big deal but the communication was appreciated.

Dear John,
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience! Thank you so much for your understanding! We are so glad that you enjoyed your Christmas at Dancing Bear Lodge!
Hope you visit us again soon!
We had such a great time at Deer Path Lodge.
Loved the extra refrigerator and the ice maker. We enjoyed that we could all sit at the table together to eat and play games.
The beds were very comfy and it was great that we each had our own bedroom.
Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate with rain and wind. But it was great that we could all be together in one place talking and laughing…..
Having a great time.
The cabin was clean and roomy. It is bigger than it looks in the pictures. It had plenty of space for the 13 of us. Our kids enjoyed the pool table and shuffle board. The adults enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the wrap around deck to have their coffee and reminisce. The views are breathtakingly beautiful. The kitchen is well appointed. We lost count of the number of bears we saw…a mother and her cub walked across the front porch in front of the kitchen table window while we were eating breakfast. What a sight!
It would have helped if there was a notebook that contained information on how to use hot tub, fire pit, etc.

We look forward to seeing you again soon, and will pass on the recommendation for the information book!
Please let us know what we can do for you in the future.
Hope you visit us again soon!
Very Comfortable cabin big enough for 16 of us plus 2 dogs. The view is amazing!!! King beds & a bath room for each bedroom were great! The kitchen had a number of dishes and tools as well as a two drawer extra fridge and an ice maker. Needed a space for food storage. All had fun in the game room from 7 to 76 years. We saw bears! One with 3 cubs as we began up the mountain. Another bear & cub decided to join us at the fire pit. Our son in law saw her coming so we all were able to grab smores & run into the cabin! We were close to Gatlinburg & other places. Thanks for everything!

Rental company lacks good cleaners for this property.
We were originally supposed to have access to the rental at 4pm, but received a call at 3:30pm informing us that the cleaning was running late. They mentioned that the house would not be ready until 4:30pm, but unfortunately, it wasn't actually ready until 6pm.
Upon our arrival at 7pm, the cleaning team was still present. If they had a banjo, one would have thought they were part of a remake of Deliverance.
Although the beds were comfortable and the house was spacious, it was in dire need of a thorough cleaning and remodeling. In the same area, there are better options available at a lower cost.
Loved the cabin. It was our second time there with our whole family. 13 of us and plenty of room. Kitchen was stocked with anything you would need to cook a meal. The dining table was the best with seating for all of us to eat and play games. Will possibly return if we are able since we are getting up in age. We have been to Gatlinburg numerous times before and finally saw some bears.

Thank you so much for choosing our cabin for your family gathering—twice! We're thrilled that 13 of you found plenty of space and comfort. It sounds like the kitchen and dining area created the perfect hub for cooking, eating, and making memories together.
We're also delighted you finally spotted some bears during your Gatlinburg visit—what an unforgettable experience! We'd absolutely love to welcome your family back whenever you're able to return. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything for your next visit.
Warmest regards!
Property was perfect for large family gathering. We enjoyed it all...the game room, the comfy sofas, the hot tub, the fire pit. You absolutely have to be bear aware, but the views are amazing
As a frequent traveler and home share renter, I am sometimes nervous about renting big homes that can be used and abused by large groups of people. While Dancing Bear Lodge is a 6 bed, 6 bath home and can sleep more than 15 people, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, comfortable and welcoming the home was for our group. From handwritten welcome notes and gifts, to a sparkling clean home, to some of the most comfortable beds I have slept on, the home was just perfect. The outdoor spaces were plentiful and the views were incredible. Our group of 10 adults and 2 children were very at home and enjoyed every minute of the stay. We saw a mama black bear and her 3 cubs each of the 5 days we were there....some days they walked right up on the porch! They were so cute! The grounds were lovely as well.
We enjoyed time in the National Park and Dollywood (30 minutes away for each), s'mores by the fire and family dinners/game night at the large table. I also triumped over a few shuffleboard games!
We were so impressed with the house overall and highly recommend.
We all had a great time. The beds were very comfortable. The fire pit was awesome and so nice to turn on with a switch. No smoke or firewood to deal with. The only complaint was the downstairs was cold. The owners should have a space heater or an additional unit to control the downstairs. Would be nice to have a bit more cabinet space in the kitchen Crowe our condiments and food. Overall, great house!!
The house was great! Plenty of space for our large group. Beds are super comfy and the house was clean and comfortable. Well stocked with kitchen utensils, dishes, etc. The ice maker and extra fridge drawers were so helpful!
