The cabin was amazing! Great location, very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub and fire pit were a plus as well! Communication with the host was excellent. I highly recommend this cabin if you’re in the Hocking hills area.
Clean beautiful home but unfortunately it rained so much every single day of our trip that it backed up the septic tank and we couldn’t use the bathrooms starting the second day :( totally not their fault of course. But very unfortunate.

Out of 165 reviews, all but a couple are 5 star so this stay is clearly outside of the norm. As stated in the guest review, there is not a lot we can do when 4 inches of rain fall in three days. Guest mentioned septic issues on the last night of their stay but we could have had the tanks pumped out daily and we are available 24/7. Guest also left the cabin in poor condition, lit a battery operated candle with a lighter which melted and ruined it, took a throw blanket and a board game yet left a negative note in the guest book. We would not rent to this guest again.
We had a great time in this cabin! Very cozy. The hot tub was our favorite part. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. Hocking Hills was amazing and we recommend Conkles Hallow! Overall great place to stay if your going on the hikes, or just want to enjoy the beautiful nature around the property.
We had a hectic trip so the hot tub was so welcome. It relaxed us immediately. The kitchen was well stocked with great cookware and the frig was really nice. The beds were a little hard for my back but I still slept great. The scenery was wonderful including the little cardinal that came to our window and looked in. I suggest a darker and thicker carpet though. White is not good. The deck was peaceful and everything else was nice and relaxing. There was a glitch with the water heater upon arrival but our host took care of that immediately and replaced it and then gave me a refund for our inconvenience. I was so impressed. Excellent service. Loved the cabin.
Very nice..very clean…near Hocking Hills State park and great hiking….came back to cabin and soaked in hot tub…then built evening fires….a great family experience
The cabin was wonderful, very comfortable and cozy. The hot tub was great. Great amenities, laid out perfectly. Thank you for allowing us to stay in such a wonderful place.
The cabin was very clean & the beds comfortable! Loved the fire pit & the hot tub!! Grandkids really liked their own sleeping space!Very easy to communicate with the owners!!
First and foremost, owner communication was top-notch.. So informational and easy to get a hold of. Cabin was just what we needed with everything that we needed inside.
Absolutely beautiful!! The host was extremely quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay again
This was the perfect vacation rental for our family of six. The kids loved sleeping in the loft, and they had their own beds and bathroom with shower up there. The kitchen was well-stocked, and there was plenty of space to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this property and would stay there again.
Great location. Host was very helpful and responsive to questions. Enjoyed our stay.

About the host
Hosted by Jim Jackson
We live in Columbus, Ohio with our two boys and enjoy getting away from it all in our family cabin as often as possible. We love this log home and spending time on the property and in the surrounding Hocking Hills. We want other families to enjoy the same experience as well.
Why they chose this property
What can we say, we love it! Our boys love the outdoors and sports and this property has lots of open space to play which is a rare find in the Hocking Hills. We love the area having both graduated from Ohio University in Athens and its short commute from Columbus.
What makes this property unique
It's close to everything and a short distance from Route 33.
