French doors off living room, and bedroom offer unobstructed ocean views, and leads onto a semi private ocean front balcony where you can enjoy sunrises and reflections of the sunset like you have seldom seen! The living room, and bedroom both feature custom electric fireplaces and HD flat panel TV’s. Listen to the crashing waves and watch the sunrise over the ocean from your bed and living room in this wonderful villa. Also your own 4-person golf cart to head into town is just steps away. H890

Perfect island get away

We stayed at H890 for two nights during the Memorial Day weekend. The home is equipped with every thing we needed. The location was perfect. Close to town by golf cart but serene. We enjoyed the various amenities at the villa including swimming pool, hot tub, and tennis court. Will stay here again.

The check-in process was confusing. There definitely was a lack of communication from the property managers which ended up being the Hamilton Cove Resort where this villa is located. We had fortunately printed off the massive amount of paperwork we had signed in advance to agree to all the HOA rules. However, the phone number listed to call upon arrival to see if our room was ready went to a voicemail that was never returned. Our ferry left Dana Point around 2:30 and we arrived just after 4pm. Fortunately, the cab driver knew where we needed to go to check-in in town before heading to the resort. Apparently, the resort office tried to send us a text when we were on the ferry, but we did not have cellular service out on the ocean. Most VRBO’s we have stayed with in the past have communication at least a day before arrival and throughout the day of check-in with updates on your room status as well as check-in details. The lock box on the door was also a bit confusing with no clear directions on how to open it. It took us a hot minute to figure it out, but we eventually did. The home is truly spectacular, professionally decorated, filled with ambiance lighting, and fully stocked with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The views are breathtaking from the balcony….The sunrises were amazing! The golf cart is a greatly appreciated amenity that allowed us to get out and about in town and tour the many paved vistas on the island. Stunning place to stay! Thank you!!

Amazing Place to Stay!

This space was extremely well kept, clean, and hospitable. The layout and floor plan is really cool too. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Catalina. It is truly an advantage to stay in the community because you can break away from Avalon for some privacy but simply ride the golf cart into town at any point. Loved this vacation.
