The host company was welcoming. Great location! Easy walk to the beach. We struggled with WiFi multiple times which is difficult since TV is based on that. The exterior of the home could use some love along with details for wall decor on interior but nothing that prevents you for having a great vacation!!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to host you again. Thank you for the feedback, it is helpful for us and future guests. We appreciate your insights.
This property is wonderful! We all had our own space and bathrooms, and the living and dining areas were great to hang out and spend time together. Having the pool was so great too! We really enjoyed it. We loved seeing turtles and gators at the edge of the water as well. The neighborhood is great! We ended up getting bikes and loved biking around the paths and on the beach. Would absolutely stay here again!

Glad you enjoyed your stay at 23 West Beach Lagoon! The home is a great space for families or groups traveling and the layout works well for everyone to have their own space :)
The outdoor space with screened-in pool overlooking the lagoon is very serene! We hope to host y'all again soon!
We would definitely stay here again. It was a .15 mile walk to the beach - nobody on beach! Pool is smaller than it looks in the pictures but it's absolutely perfect for the 4 adults/one baby we had at the house! The pool is all screened in so it's sooo awesome! We paid to get it heated for the week and it was about 80 degrees. The whole inside is mostly renovated and they are still working on it. Rented bikes but it's so close to the beach, it's easier to put everything in a wagon and walk over! Bikes were awesome though for the rest of the island. Loved it. Would definitely stay here again.

Amber! YES! The owners of the home did an amazing jobs with their renovations so far, it has not been a let down! Thank you for this amazing review and we truly hope we can host your family again
The house breathes a beach atmosphere. It's cool blue walls and open floor plan provides a respite for families in search of bonding time and beach time. There is also ample space for families to spread out when bonding has reached its peak. The kitchen is spacious for cooking and serving to three eating areas. We found the den a grat place to play board games and cards while watching TV. The screened in pool was perfect for returning from a hot day at the beach and it was a very private place to relax and read in the mornings while observing the wildlife in the lagoon.
We have vacationed to Hilton Head 3 times before and this was the first rental that said it did not provide beach chairs/umbrellas. We rented them ahead of time only to find beach chairs and umbrellas in a room outside. We also discovered after our kids slept in toasty bedrooms that there are 2 thermostats for the house, which should be made known. The room wth the double beds can get quite stuffy. We had to buy a scrub brush as none was provided to wash pots and pans and renters should be prepared to bring trash bags - we filled up the one on the first day! Typically, there is at least one more provided but this is not really a big deal. The shower pressure and hot water were amazing and welcome in washing off sunscreen and salt water each day. The WiFi was great (important to teens) and while I didn't consider the lagoon a necessity, the cacophony of frogs serenading us each night was magical. We also has a nesting sea hawk that ate fish in the tree over the screened in pool each morning - not something you see every day.
Overall great location, great house. If you aren't carrying a load of coolers and beach chairs, you don't even need bikes if you're only interested in getting back and forth to the beach. The beach was largely unoccupied each day - one of the reasons we like to rent in this area of Sea Pines. I highly recommend this house and would stay here again.
Overall, things were good. The pool was smaller than the pictures indicated, but it was fine for what we needed. The house has some quirkiness, one bathroom has only a tub no shower and the counters are very low. It was difficult to get the slider open to the pool area. I've never seen a more confusing setup for a TV. We were comfortable even during the tropical storm.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay even with the difficulties. Please come again!!!
Our family of 4 really enjoyed staying here. The screened-in pool was a big plus, and a quick walk to the not-crowded part of Sea Pines beach was fabulous.

Great location
The location of the house was wonderful. The house was clean but it is very dated and could use some updating.
