House was beautiful and had all the amenities for a large group. Plenty of space and comfortable. Great location for many places of interest. Great communication with the hosts. Wonderful views of the stars at night and viewing wildlife.
Wonderfully located right by all the sightseeing places. Comfortable quiet house. We had plenty of room to relax when we got back from sightseeing. If ever back in the area, we will definitely try to get this place again.
Anything and everything you need is right at your fingertips in the property. Wildlife right outside your door. You’re also centrally located to most of the attractions in the area. Beautiful, quiet, peaceful place to unwind and enjoy the black hills and everything it has to offer. Could not have been more pleased.
The property was in a beautiful peaceful setting. It was very well equipped and stocked with what we needed. Hosts were gracious and communicated great. We would love to come back!
This is such a lovely property! It was so well stocked, amazing kitchen (we have to make our own food due to dietary restrictions). We loved having so many seating options in the outdoor spaces, the weather was spectacular when we were there so we took full advantage of being outside. The info sent by the owner before we arrived was really in depth about the house and the area, that was very much appreciated. We had some car trouble while we were there and Tom was really responsive and helpful to us during that period, that was AMAZING!! Thank you, Tom!! For us this location was spot on for being close to so many things to visit but also scenic and away from the busy parts of the area. Highly, highly recommend this property!
The property was beautiful and peaceful! The house was beautiful and comfortable. Exactly as advertised. We utilized the bunkhouse as an adventure for two of the kids (with a parent).
This was our 3rd time staying at this location & once again, it was perfect! The house is on such a beautiful & peaceful plot of land. We enjoyed watching the deer, chipmunks & turkeys that visited daily. The house has everything you could possibly need & we felt right at home. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us!
We really enjoyed our stay and the good proximity to everything we wanted to see. Tom and Sue are A hosts who are incredibly kind and responsive. Our party of 11 was very comfortable the whole week, it didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Plenty of space to spread out! The kitchen had everything, including spices and salt and pepper and plastic wrap, napkins, etc…..all the things you aren’t sure you should buy on your way in. They have it all. Lynn’s Dakotamart is well stocked….i scheduled a Walmart pickup in rapid city so I wouldn’t have to spend a lot of time grocery shopping, but for second and third trips to the grocery, Lynn’s was very convenient. We marveled at how serene and quiet the home was, and the critters are so friendly and cute. Check the fridge before you go to Mt. Rushmore…a previous renter might have gifted you a pass—they’re valid for a year!
Lovely property with everything we needed and more. Beautiful views, peaceful, close to all main attractions and plenty of space for our group of 6 people.
Property was great! Great location. Incredibly quiet and amazing star viewing. House was clean and well stocked. I would absolutely stay here again.Hosts were very responsive to all communication.
The house was very comfortable. It had everything we needed. It was close enough to town but yet far enough out to give us the wilderness feel. We loved watching the animals and sitting on the porch enjoying the peace and quiet.
We’re repeat visitors because of the beautiful location, outdoor amenities, and great value. The family takes immaculate care of the property and keeps it stocked with everything you need!
The house was as described in listing. Very clean well stocked. Very private. The location was perfect easy driving distance to all major attractions. We were 2 adult couples and extremely comfortable stay plenty of room could have had another couple or Two. We didn’t cook much as ate out on our day trips. But well stocked with everything you could possibly need. I have no negative issues with Tom & Sue’s place. For some the poor cell phone signal could be a problem. There is excellent internet and kept in touch with others via text. Was nice actually not getting calls! Would stay again without hesitation!
This is our 2nd stay at this home & once again we thoroughly enjoyed our time. We love the secluded feeling of the property and the abundant wildlife. Added bonus of this location is they allow our dog to stay as well!
