We renovated the former Queen Elizabeth School into apartments-this is the former science classroom-approximately 1150 s.f. with ceilings over 12 ft high-lots of big windows that open.
The apartment allows complete self sufficiency-from forks to all furnishings-all appliances-bedding......51" curved Samsung TV-netflix-youtube-Prime-hey Google......
Laundry is coin-op but coins are provided so it's free.
Except for last minute bookings we provide fresh Finn pancake mix-strawberries-whipped cream- all pans and cooking instructions for guests to make their own Finn pancake breakfast. Mix and cooking instructions by a former cook at probably the most famous Finnish restaurant in Northern Ontario

This place has everything you would ever want and things you never thought you needed but happy to have available. We were able to host Christmas 🎄 the place was beautifully decorated for the holidays.

Home away from home

We’ve never stayed anywhere with our fur babies and felt so comfortable. The location made travelling around the city easy. We most definitely will be making this our home when in Thunder Bay. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Both of us were born and lived our lives -to date-in/around Thunder Bay. Mike was a commercial realtor for 30 years and owned several small businesses.
Taina started out working in Finnish restaurants-became a licensed electrician and is now retired.
