Mariner's Cove is a private island oasis. Featuring 5 large guest rooms, 3 full bathrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms, Gourmet Chef's kitchen, formal dining room, breakfast nook, living area, private theater with 70" HD flat screen, oversized washer/dryer, ample outdoor seating, pool chase loungers & umbrellas, hammocks, outdoor gazebo/ wet bar with full outdoor kitchen and entertainment area, over .5 acres of lush tropical landscaping, outdoor fire pit, private boat dock on canal and lots of room to entertain.

This home is essentially your own private resort and offers boaters quick access to the Gulf or Atlantic in just minutes from the private dock.

Located just 30 minutes from Historic Key West or 30 minutes from Marathon you are close enough to the excitement of Duval Street but far enough away for a tranquil evening on the back porch watching the stars. Great home for multiple families, private functions, corporate retreats or just a perfect place to relax.

Room Specifics:
The Downstairs master bedroom features a full power adjustable King size canopy bed so you can tilt it up to watch TV or lay it down flat to sleep. The master bathroom has huge walk-in closets and a walk-in shower. Relax in the soaking tub or get to work at the Tommy Bahama desk in the attached office.

Upstairs has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. There are two rooms with King size fully power adjustable beds. These rooms are joined by a full bath. There is a bunk bedroom great for kids and both bunk beds are full size beds (upper & lower). And lastly a large room with two queen beds with on-suite bathroom, walk in closet and 55" smart TV.

Perfect location in the lower Keys

Beautiful home, nicely furnished. Great location in a quiet neighborhood convenient to Key West (30 min) and Marathon. The fenced back yard was resort style and a the family loved this home, pool, and its proximity to lots of things to do.

My 4th trip to the lower keys for the month of February at the Kraken house was the best. The house and outdoor pool and surroundings were unbelievable. Our host Theresa was spot on with any and all issues.

This was a fantastic vacation in a beautiful location, house, pool and yard. There was everything you could want or need in this rental. Teresa was wonderful to deal with and her response was immediate for anything.

Well stocked house with amazing outdoor area

We are a group of 8 who have been coming to the middle Keys for many years during February. We usually stay in a different house every year. We all agree this house was well stocked with linens, kitchen supplies and utensils, cleaning supplies, condiments, spices, coolers and pool towels. We have never been to a house that was this well stocked The ice machine was also very nice to have and it saved us many trips to buy ice. The house is very comfortable and worked well for the 4 couples. The outdoor and pool areas are exceptional. The pool furniture is very comfortable and the outdoor kitchen and bathroom are very useful. Communication with the property manager was easy and the few minor problems we had were quickly fixed. We would be happy to rent this property again.

Kraken Good Time

From the beautiful pool area with outdoor kitchen to the indoor kitchen with an unprecedented supply of everything needed to whip up a gourmet meal as well as set a lovely table, to condiments, snacks, drinks, etc. left for our use, to the extremely comfortable beds, Mariner’s Cove was a wonderful ‘find’. Kudos to Theresa, property manager, who was most gracious and responded promptly when we needed her assistance. We have rented many homes over the years, from the Outer Banks to Summerland Key. No home topped the welcome we received at Mariner’s Cove.

Outdoor living at it's finest

The backyard was a tropical paradise- Palm trees, hammocks, outdoor kitchen and tiki hut by the canal, a pool and bathroom. Beautiful back deck and front porch with seating areas. Watching private airplanes land & take off was fun. Very comfortable beds The kitchen was fully stocked (every drawer, cabinet, shelf, pantry ,counter filled--not much room for storage of personal provisions). A couple of things to note: We didn't realize from the description that one bedroom upstairs had no access to a bathroom. Either must go through another bedroom or go downstairs to a hallway bathroom. Also as we have never owned a pool, didn't realize the maintenance required (in addition to the hired pool service). We had to add water to pool quite often. Pool got dirty very quickly, even with constant skimming.

Best place ever

We loved this property. The description and pictures posted were right on. We got what we expected. It felt like we were at our own resort. Theresa was very attentive to any concerns we had, nothing big. We were so close to Key West we made several trips. It was fun watching the plane take off and land, one odd or friend's is a pilot. Loved the out door kitchen. We cooked outside often. The heated pool was perfect for cocktail time. Some shade over parts of the pool all day. The only thing I would change is the bathroom locations/ number. We did fine but one more bathroom upstairs would have been nice. The ultimate review is would you recommend this property to other and would you stay here again. YES, YES. We are booked for next year already.
