Build in 2008, my place is close to Le Mont Ventoux, famous for the tour de France stage. Provence is one of the most desired regions of France. The weather is perfect, the local food amazing and the scenery breath taking. If you enjoy the outdoors, this is the place for you. There are also abundant hiking trails or if you prefer a bike ride, a trip up the Mont Ventoux may be of interest. The property is a 30 minute drive to Avignon TGV. Take a look at the pictures of nearby places to visit.

About the host
Hosted by Thomas Michel
American grown with French roots... I was born and raised in France. I moved to the U.S to pursue a childhood dream of becoming a helicopter pilot. After obtaining my commercial pilot license in 1992 I moved back to France but quickly realized that America was were I wanted to live, so i moved back at the end of 1992. I have lived in Southern California ever since. I do go back to France each year, usually during Christmas to visit my family and relax in my house. My dad lives a few hundred yards from my house so my guests are always well taken care of. He has lived in Provence all his life.
Why they chose this property
I purchased the land and build this house new in 2008. It has all the comfort of a modern home with a fictional kitchen but also has a lot of character with antique furniture throughout. The staircase is very unique as it was originally installed in a castle.
What makes this property unique
Few miles from the famous Mt Ventoux, this house is surrounded with vineyards, cherry trees and many hiking trails.
