We loved this cozy rental! It was the perfect location to explore five national parks in the area! The beds were so comfortable and there were so many special touches. The Host was great at communicating everything we needed to know to make the check-in and check out seamless. The value was also amazing!

This property was even better than pictured - very clean and well laid out. My two boys (ages 14 and 12) used it as a base to explore around Golden and YoHo National Park and we had a great experience.

Everything exceeded expectations. Very comfortable stay with friendly hosts. I would recommend staying for a week, not only do you need that long to see everything but you get a night's discount. Why put up with a Travelodge when you can stay cheaper here.

Rogers pass ski trip

We stayed at creaky cedars as a base for rogers pass. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was small but sufficient for breakfast and dinner.

Lovely little cabin stay

We were just a few kilometers out of golden near reflection lake area. it had everthing we needed and was comfortable and quiet with washing facilities .we had a wonderful time and owner was friendly

Stayed for a hockey camp. Excellent distance to Golden.

A great getaway. The only shortfall was the shower is a tight space would not recommend for a large person over 6’2 and/or a wide person.

Peaceful country setting

Delightful accommodation with great outdoor seating. A few kitchen basics and ground coffee are a welcoming feature. Town is close enough for a quick run for groceries or liquor store. If ever back this way we would definitely book again.

From initial communications before we arrived to this beautiful property to our few conversations in person, we can not begin to express how lovely the hosts, Nick and Irene truly are ! The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was appreciated, and the location was gorgeous and private. We will definitely be wanting to stay here again and would highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a wonderful place to stay while in Golden!

Beautiful and peaceful place

A lovely cabin adjoined to the main house, but entirely independent and separate. A beautiful and peaceful space, carefully laid out. We appreciated beautiful pictures and decor, as well as the fact that everything you could need would be there. The cabin is about 15-20 mins bike ride into the town of Golden, or a 5-7 min drive, and a great place to stage your Golden-based adventures.

It is exactly what we need for two nights and price!

It is clean, beds are comfortable, everything what you need in the kitchen, close to Golden,.We visited Takakkaw falls one of the most wonderful experience we had in our trip and it is only one hour from Irene house ! Thank you for having us! Enjoy your summer!!!

A Place To Rest Our Heads

Surprisingly private to think that the owners live in the other side of the cabin. Great location if you can't book a cabin any closer to Banff/Lake Louise. Don't be frightened by first impressions. The cabin is clean and tidy inside.
