Situated on Caney Creek in Live Oak Bend, our house is perfect for a family vacation, fishing trip, or a weekend getaway. The Sargent/Caney Creek area offers friendly folks, fishing in Matagorda Bays, surf fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, fishing in Caney Creek (guides available), duck hunting, bird-watching, beach-combing, skiing, wake boarding, boat riding, or just relaxing. Fun fishing right off the private pier -- day or night under 2 (1000 watt one green one white) fishing lights – is available. The private dock will accommodate 3 bay boats or several jet skis. The free, neighborhood boat launch is just 1/8 mile down the road where you can launch your own boat.

Peace and fishing

I love this property. The host does everything to make sure things go smoothly, communicates fast and effectively. The house is clean, cozy and the perfect place to get away. Caught my PB Red fish here! I look forward to coming back, thank you for everything.
