Very good

We thought the cabin was perfect for our needs. We only hung out there later in the evening and to sleep as we had our motorcycles to ride and explore all day. The only thing we thought would have made it better was if the fridge door opened the opposite way, but clearly that’s not a deal breaker.

ANTS
I am a nature lover and love to camp. With that being said our little cabin was infested with ants. We were given poison to spray. We decided at the last minute to leave our dogs at home otherwise we could have had very bad situation.
Ants and other insects are a part of nature I get that, and have no problem with that. The problem that I have is that we were sharing our food with them, and unfortunately got to bring some home with us.
Very disappointing for the money. We made it a good time, but would have appreciated the camp-ground offering some sort of compensation. I cautioned them to give this little cabin a thorough cleaning, so anyone bringing pets won't be licking up poison.
Property owner (rex I think) went above and beyond! Heater unit broke at 1:30am and he brought space heaters immediately to keep the place warm! And completely put in a new unit in while we were shopping the next day!!! Great place to stay!! Wife/me/2 kids/2dogs. Thank you Rex from the bottom of my heart! 5 ⭐ service!!!!
The property is expansive and has everything you would expect in a RV park. I would love to see it during a music festival. Late check in was difficult. We were given 2 different door codes and in the dark it was difficult to figure out if I was using the lock correctly. There was very little information on the check in paperwork. I tried to look back at my information in my email and VRBO app, but without WIFI or cell signal that was not possible. The property was exactly as advertised and clean. I would probably stay closer to Brown County State park next time, but it was a good value and a nice weekend get away.
Best lower charge cabin we have stayed in. Good heating and separate heating for bathroom. Kitchen came with everything we needed and then some. Beds very good. Lots of rough- sawn Wood inside. Stairs too steep for adults but my gg-son had no trouble getting up to loft. Museum was fascinating. We will look forward to going back next spring.

Rustic cabin with electric and basic items
Camp ground seemed closed, no fish biting in the pond and the cabin had very basic items.
Easy to settle in. Drove up to cabin door. Unloaded SUV No steps up to porch. Raised back porch has a swing and nice view. Kitchen was roomy enough with table and chairs to enjoy meals together..
This was the perfect cabin to host myself and my bridesmaids the night before my wedding, and then myself and my husband on our wedding night. Wonderful quiet location!
My family and I stayed here for my birthday. Overall, the impression was that the cabin was cozy and met our needs for the few nights we were staying in Brown County. The campground was great and we will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful time!
The view, serenity, and atmosphere was exactly what we needed!
We were able to unplug from all communication avenues & just rest & relax.
We loved it there & will be coming back again! :-)
Loved, loved, loved it!
This is a great place to sleep. There are multiple beds in the loft and one bed in the downstairs. The kitchen features a 2 burner stove and ‘fridge.

Decent for small camping group
It is nice if you are looking for a small, rustic place. The bed wasn't so comfortable and the sheets/blankets seemed not super clean. If you have a bigger group it would be a tight fit in the kitchen & bathroom, and there isn't a common living area or couch to sit on. It seemed a bit pricey to us for what it was. We enjoyed the patio and porch swing.

Booking...great. Some miscommunication with the owner/office as to what cabin we were in.
Despite a couple hiccups at the start, it ended up being a very nice little getaway, albeit a little pricey. The staff is very friendly. The beds weren't super comfortable, but hey...it's a cabin, not a five-star hotel. Cabins are super cute, but we may opt for camping next time.

Weekend getaway
We stayed here for the weekend to go mushroom hunting it was a great cabin and a great location to the State park. Unfortunately I wish they had gravel payed out better next to the cabin cause it rained the entire time so when it came to time to leave we got stuck. Left a number on the message machine to see if we could get some assistance but NEVER got ANY call back.
