Everything was clean and nice. It was a fairly quiet neighborhood. I never saw the host, which is neither good nor bad. A storm blew in and the temperature dropped and it took me a while to figure out there was a small electric heater I could use.
Wonderful owners -very accommodating .Only problem was ,not familiar with streaming, we didn’t have success with the TV. A family member came by to help… very nice people with whom we had conversations. Also , a nice, cool, clean facility.
It was the perfect little place to stay while we visited our son and daughter-in-law who are going to school at SUU. Easy to find, great location, close to everything, clean and comfy! Will likely stay here again on our next visit.
We were in town for a few days for a wedding. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this cozy place. Very clean and well stocked with supplies. We felt safe and welcome here.
We enjoyed our stay at this well-appointed place that had everything we needed. The small details made it feel so welcoming when we walked in like we were VIP guests. It was the perfect location for our day trips to Cedar Breaks National Monument, Duck Creek, Kolob Canyon and Kanarraville.
Laurie's place was just a perfect place for us to stay while we attended the Utah Shakespeare Festival. It was close, cozy, and comfortable. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay.
This little gem surprised us. It’s clean, has everything two people need, and the hosts clearly care about their guest’s experiences. We will definitely stay here again.
It all went very well. Close to downtown and right off the interstate, but far enough away to be very quiet. Neighbors quiet as well. Everything went well.
Laurie was amazing. She, and her family went the extra mile in getting us in and out through the snowy weather conditions. The accomodations were clean and very nice.
We loved that it was so peaceful and quiet. Also hidden back from the street, tucked behind lilac bushes. Everything was so cozy and homey. We have never stayed at an Air B and B (VRBO) before. We normally stay in motels but this will speedily become a habit for us! We slept so soundly and we'll - refreshed for each days adventures! Also the kitchen was so nice, and it was lovely to have breakfast on that back patio. We loved the porch swing! We encountered no problems whatsoever. All in all I would recommend this address to anyone!
it is tucked away and very private. it also has every thing I needed. I was doing all my own cooking trying not to get covid and it was easy. I would recommend this to everyone.
We stayed at Laurie’s for 3 nights for a weekend to enjoy snowboarding at Brian Head. We found it cheaper to stay in cedar city versus on the mountain and the drive up was quick and easy. Laurie’s was comfortable, cozy, and had everything we needed with close access to grocery store. My only and small con is how thin the walls are… we could easily hear conversations from inside Laurie’s house which meant they could easily hear us…. However, as we spent only the evenings there to sleep it wasn’t much a bother to us. Would definitely stay here again for a snowboarding trip.
The property was nice, clean, and easy to access. One problem was that we weren't able to control the temperature in the apartment. It is on the same system as the rest of the house. When we arrived all the heat vents were closed, and it was freezing. We opened the vents, but then it was way too hot at night. It would be reall nice to have the unit on it's own HVAC system.
We tried to use the tv, but the remote to the Roku wasn't working.
Also, there is a door where the apartment connects to the rest of the house. We could hear conversations from the other side of the door, and assumed they could hear us. Invest in an insulted door. It will be a lot less awkward for your guests.
Other than that it was a really nice place.
We have been coming to Cedar City for 30 years and have stayed in a lot of rentals. This place is clean and the owners have tried hard to make and keep it nice. This is an excellent location close to city center and only 2-3 minutes from the Shakespeare Festival. The neighborhood is a little older but quiet and convenient. The only criticism is that the AC unit is noisy and does not have a thermostat. Otherwise it is one of our favorites.
This was a quaint little basement apartment in a duplex house. It was a little confusing to get in and figure where to park at first. it was also a little misleading about what type of house it was, but It was very close to everything in Cedar City, very clean and neat. It had everything we needed. We would stay there again.
We were there just one night, but it was a sweet place. Would come back when we have more time. Super close to the main part of town, lots of shops and places to eat. Signs indicate Bryce NP accessed here.
Great little spot for my week in Cedar City. Clean and had everything I needed. I reached out once with a question to the owner and she responded right away. The space heater cord did get warm so I didn't use it much but it also wasn't a cold week so it was fine. Thanks for being a great host and for having a great little spot.
For just two people, it was a perfect get away. Very friendly host and good location. Finding the door wasn’t too hard and getting in was easy. Pretty small, but again, for two people it was good.

What makes this property unique
The home is located in a charming old Cedar City neighborhood which is right down the street from what locals call "Burger Alley". There are numerous fast food places and fine restaurants within walking distance. There is also a good laundromat directly off of Burger Alley and a grocery store within a mile. If it's the Shakespeare festival you're interested in, SUU is less than a mile away. This truly is a tourist's hub! You're only a 20 minute drive from Kolob (the north part of Zions National Park), 40 minutes away from Cedar Breaks National Monument and Brian Head, 1 hour and 20 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park, and 160 miles to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park.
