Located steps from Sunny Cove and other East Cliff beaches, this top floor ocean view rental features granite counter tops, espresso shaker cabinets, stainless steel appliances and hardwood (laminate) flooring. The living room features a 50" LCD Smart TV with Xfinity's Double Play package in HD. We also provide high speed Xfinity WiFi Performance Pro internet.

The Master Bedroom includes a Queen size bed, 42" LCD Smart TV, oversized closet and an en suite bathroom with a shower/tub.

We have a dining table for suited for 4 people, plus a granite peninsula that can seat additional people.

Great Beach House

This beach house is excellent. Short walking distance to the beach. The view is great. The bed is very comfortable. There is a full kitchen that make it easy to plan your own meals.Bit the best part of this unit is its owner and how they go out of their way to make sure you have a great time! Thank You!

View is better than photo!

My husband and I came to Santa Cruz to do the roughwater 1 mile swim. Your penthouse view was BETTER than the photo and was so clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks!

Ocean view house

My son requested a beach vacation for his 5th birthday and this ocean view house was the perfect spot for us to stay just 10-12 minutes from the boardwalk. One bedroom and a pull out couch. Check in instructions were detailed and made the process very easy. Would stay here again

Wonderful location

Nice house, with easy accessibility. Walking distance to beach with outside shower for sand washoff. The only downside was that there was no soap/ shampoo/ conditioner in the bathroom and no broom to sweep the floor, which was bothersome. Other than that it was a great experience!

Perfect location!

My husband and I (with our two kids) really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful views with just a small walk to the beach. We have stayed in this area many times with our extended family but loved being in a new location with just our kids. Unit was fully stocked with everything we needed. Only a couple minutes walk to a beautiful beach and Starbucks was about a 3 minute walk. Perfect for our family!

Prep cleaning done while we were there. Microwave oven has a broken handle, making it almost impossible to use. Responsive host to cleaning issue. Located on a busy road.

Great space

Overall a comfortable place to stay. Only thing I would say and I believe it was said in the past is to please change out the bed. It squeaks very loudly when you move even the littlest movement and I think there is someone downstairs. On the positive it is close to two beaches and when COVID is over close to other amenities.

It's all about the location and the view!

The property had everything I needed. It seemed dusty when I arrived, like no one had been there for a while, but that didn't detract from my stay. I just cleaned the counters and the table. The bed was good, the shower good (low pressure, but ok to conserve water), kitchen equipped. Waking up to the view was fabulous even though the weather was cold and wet. It made up for any possible disappointments!!! I appreciated being able to check in 1/2 hour early after reaching the contact person about that. Might be more accurate to call the back door green rather than blue, but the codes worked, so it didn't matter. Thanks for a nice stay!

Expect more

The location and check in process was great. The very displeased with the cleanliness. Underneath the paper towel holder, there was an infestation of ants and larva, which I ended up having to clean up initially there were ants in the bathroom in the tub. There were cobwebs everywhere like it had not been dusted in sometimes we were unable to use the pullout couch, as it would not open properly, I did message the owner. She sent someone over to do a clean and replace the paper towel holder. I also contacted her about how to use the couch. She said it should come right out, but it never did. For the price I was displeased with the cleanliness, and even though ants are a normal thing the larva and infestation underneath the towel rack was not normal.

Could have done better

Inside of apartment was good. Amenities like dishwasher soap which was not present, soap in bathroom etc not present. Outside of property was very poor. When we drove up, property had groan factor. Very weepy, not lighted, courtyard not swept and clean, door not lighted, had to use cell phone to see to punch in code, staircase smelly and not lighted. Would have been so easy and inexpensive to make outside space more attractive. A little time and about $50. You are so close to having a great property. A little more effort?

For someone who likes to view the ocean, walk on the beach and be around a friendly neighborhood community with restaurants around this is your spot! Stay 3 nights instead of 2.

Location

We had a great stay. Great location. Privacy. Never saw landlord. Bed moves and makes noise. Would be nice if bed was not on wheels. We were able to stabilize it with chairs and towels. Other than that we really recommend this as a couple place to stay in Santa Cruz. 5 stars.
