Located minutes from town and grocery store on a paved road, 1 mile from new boat ramp and park or continue 1 mile up the paved road to the top of Bell Mountain for amazing 360-degree views of Lake Chatuge and surrounding mountains from Bell Mountain park. This 2-bedroom, split floor plan, offers privacy for families or couples with king bedroom downstairs and king bedroom and loft upstairs. Enjoy a nice fire in the outdoor fire pit while taking in a spectacular mountain sunset and you can also enjoy your meals outdoors on the covered porch at the 6-person dining table. Ample parking within steps from the front door with plenty of room to turn around and park your boat. Dogs are welcome with a nominal fee. Please NO cats.

Great Views - as described!

The views are just as described and the home was a great place for us to get away for the weekend. My only feedback was a bit of cleanliness in one of the bathrooms, but cleaning supplies were conveniently located and it was easy to enjoy our stay. Thanks for being a great host!

Look no further for a beautiful stay in the Hiawassee area, right on Bell Mountain (one of the tallest points in GA - BEAUTIFUL views!).

Beautiful mountain home, stellar vacation

This mountain home is an absolute gem. The sights of the north GA mountains are spectacular and the place itself is immaculate. Our kids enjoyed playing in the game room and loved roasting marshmallows over the campfire. The location is within a 45 minute drive of several excellent trails/waterfalls (e.g., Ana Ruby Falls, Tallulah Gorge, Helton Creek Falls).Lastly, Lisa was absolutely wonderful with guidance on what to do in Hiawassee. She answered all of our questions promptly.Overall, highly recommend this location and would love to come back. Thanks for giving our family a vacation experience to cherish!

Little gem

!we had a great time in the cabin and area - very clean, beautiful big deck and view, great grill and central location to so many things in the area. Top of Bell Mountain overlook is gorgeous at sunset! Would stay again…

Fantastic View!!

My husband & I stayed at this lovely cabin for 10 days and absolutely loved every minute of our vacation. The house was very clean and comfy. The best sleep we've had in a long time! The view is absolutely stunning! Just relax on the porch and gaze at the beautiful mountains. Our host Lisa was so wonderful in answering our questions and responded quickly. A must for dinner is Rib Country for BBQ....worth the drive to Murphy NC. We had a wonderful time and are so happy we chose this home.

What a view

House was clean and advertised exactly as it was. Beds were comfortable, views were breathtaking and the location was just right. Plenty of room to park the truck, trailer and motorcycles. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful views

This was our second time at this location (cabin) and enjoyed it both times. No matter what time of year it is, the views are gorgeous. The town of Hiawassee is small but has everything you need and the lake areas are very nice also. We would recommend to others to use. We hope to return in the future.

Beautiful view, comfy beds, great firepit

We had a great time with my family. The house was clean and well stocked, the beds were very comfortable, my kids loved the little hidden play den where they could get away after a long day of hiking. We loved the view, and enjoyed the firepit as well. It is close to grocery stores, but also at the top of the very same mountain there is a great viewing area to watch the sunset. Highly recommend it.

Fall get a way

This is a very comfortable property with a beautiful view—this was our third stay here in as many years. The new electric fireplace/heater was a nice addition this year. We made use of the grill and the fire pit

Gorgeous view!

Lovely cabin. A few things were missing (lightbulbs out) but overall a wonderful stay! Usually we have a few things to get us started such as soap, laundry pod, etc… but there wasn’t any of that. So, our first night we had to run out and get a few supplies.

Better than Photos

The place is quite spacious yet cozy. ADORABLE, clean with all the amenities you’d need!! The drive up to the house is your average narrow mountain road but forgiving with lots of pull over spots. This is important to those of us who drive flat roads with lots of space. 😂 And even tho it doesn’t seem THAT high of a drive, the view looks it. It’s beautiful. Would love to do this spot again!

Best place

This was the best area and great place to stay. Everything was just as described. We really did enjoy to private setting. Everything was perfect. Easy check in. Owner communicated with us within 30 minutes of sending a message. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and private place. Enjoyed the fireworks from the deck. We will be returning in the fall.

Fantastic view!

If you are looking for a cozy accomodation with a beautiful view of the mountains this cabin will not disappoint. The cabin itself was very comfortable and offers enough space to accommodate a small group or family. There is an upstairs that would be a great getaway for the kids with a bedroom, playroom and sitting area with a TV. The deck is spacious and offers unobstructed views of the mountains across the valley. The cabin is in a convenient location, being just a short drive from town with lots of dining choices as well as an Ingles Market. We enjoyed our stay here very much and plan to return in the future, perhaps in the Fall when the colors must be spectacular.

Rats and rat poison under the sink

We heard rats on the floors at night. There was rat poison under the sink, so the owner knew..we'd already paid and were there..next door neighbors had dogs one pooped on the sidewalk..we saw 3 different dogs on the property..also it is Well water..it smells like rotten eggs..never experienced anything like that before..we won't be returning and I wouldn't recommend.

Hiawassee Stay in for almost a week in July

The view is spectacular. We sat on the porch every chance we had to take in the view. The cabin is pretty dark inside even with lights on. We didn't use the upstairs bedroom and bath -- didn't really need such a big place. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies needed for cooking (spices, pots, pans, etc.). Beds downstairs were comfortable. Living room is a little awkward -- very long and you can't see the tv from the couches provided so you have to use the recliners which we didn't find that comfortable for tv watching. We had a little trouble with the large barking dogs next door but Lisa talked to them and things got better. We had dogs too, but the neighbors dogs did a lot of barking when we were outside of the cabin. Overall it was a good experience with a few bumps.

My family and I love the mountains. I wanted a home to escape the Florida heat, but close enough for family to visit often. We fell in love with this home and its beautiful views the first time we saw it and knew it was perfect for our family's needs. We hope you enjoy this home as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

We found this home by chance after our realtor took us to the top of Bell Mountain to see the 360 degree views of Hiawassee and Lake Chatuge. The first thing we noticed about this home, compared to others, was the room to park and turn around. This isn't easy to come by in the mountains. As soon as you step out of your car you can already get a glimpse of the amazing views. We walked up onto the porch and knew this was the view we were looking for. To top it all off, there is a brand new boat ramp minutes from the home to enjoy the lake too.
