We loved staying at the Cozy Cottage! It was a perfect 4 days on your beautiful property. We loved the hiking trails, the Huzzah Creek that is crystal clear and our vacation kitty, Valley! I will miss her, she is so sweet. I’m sure we will be back again some day.
We had a great time despite the rain. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Bed was a bit small for my husband who is over 6ft but we made it work. We loved grilling out, going down to the old mill, wading in the creek and walking the trails on the property. Will definitely stay there again!
Not for old people who don't hike.person on hammock in add, well you have to buy a hammock from the shed to be able to have a hammock that they call a general store. No TV just cd

Hi Richard - We’re sorry to hear your stay wasn’t a 5 star experience. We do not provide cable as it’s more of a glamping style experience, but we do offer a TV with DVDs for guests use, which we state in the listing description. We don’t offer CDs. There were hammocks available for your use, one in the cabinet of the coffee bar and another available in the Hammock Hangout area. We would have been happy to point you to these available hammocks if you had inquired about them. Yes, we do also sell the hammocks and donate a portion of the profits to local homeless organizations. We’re sorry to hear our Hammocks for the Homeless program was not to your satisfaction. Cheers!
Worth it in every way. I thoroughly enjoyed my time! The 24hr general store they have is inspired genius and affordable. I recommend the hammock. My cattle dog Monty also enjoyed the land and trail access! Lots to do!! Everything was clean and ready, ran into zero issues!
It is beautiful here. The house was clean and welcoming. The grounds were maintained and the owners put a lot of thought into the look of their property. Highly recommend for a quiet weekend or have family purchase othery places to stay on the property and that would be a great time as well. We will be back.

Thank you for the nice review, Nichole. We agree on your thoughts on renting more than one unit for a family reunion or group event. Our website explains more of what we have to offer for group events.
The cabin and surrounding areas are beautiful and very quiet. Perfect for some time away from everyday life and out in nature. The owners were very thoughtful and nice to work with.
What a wonderful place! Clean cottage, well-stocked kitchen, and enough space for a family of 4. The property is great! Well-kept and the surrounding pond on property was great to fish. Also, the Huzzah and Mill within comfortable walking distance made this a wonderful slice of Missouri nature. Thank you Jay for being such a great host!
We had a wonderful, very enjoyable stay on this property! We enjoyed the hiking trails and fishing in the ponds as well as hiking to the Huzzah Creek. The Dillard Mill Historic Site is beautiful - we hiked and picnicked there. Very quiet and relaxing - just what we were looking for! Cozy cabin has everything we needed - loved the fire pit on our patio - perfect for the cool evenings. We used the DVD player and it would be helpful to have instructions on getting it to work.
We have already recommended this place to a few friends - one has already booked a camper in May.
This was an awesome cottage. Very quiet and relaxing. Had everything you need to hang out and easily can walk to the creek to swim and hang out or walk to Dillard Mill. Very clean and nice, friendly owners.
