The Yurt was just as advertised. Very clean with the felling of a luxury suite. The privacy was incredible. The A/C really was awesome as we stayed when it was hot out.
It was a wonderful experience for my daughter whos never camping. Gorgeous property. Warning: there was no internet or cell reception for 10 before getting there and whole time. Wasnt prepared for that lol
This is a great get a way spot that is tucked into a peaceful and scenic location. There’s a little creek that runs by within a short walking distance. We really enjoyed the stay. The only reason I only gave 4 stars on the check in was that it wasn’t ready when we got there due to the previous occupants not leaving when they were supposed to and that we didn’t know which one we were supposed to go to. There was nothing telling us which spot was our spot. Also, I would highly recommend to the owner to install a hydrant for fresh water. It’s fairly inexpensive and would be a great asset.
We enjoyed our two night stay, everything was mostly great except a few minor things - there was no lantern on the table as was written in the check-in, there were no sheets for the air mattress and it had a slow leak and deflated significantly overnight, and the extra blankets had not been washed before we arrived and no one had swept under the beds or couch so there were some water bottles from the previous campers. We did not have cell service so I couldn't contact the host but the issues were minor so we were not too troubled by it.
When I got home, I have an email with a message from the host that I can't respond to because the site has updated and doesn't let me access my previous stay. When I read it I was taken aback that the host would say we left the place a mess, and use exclamation points to complain that WE hadn't cleaned up the water bottles from the previous campers... we also did not do the bed laundry and we used the dishes and coffeemaker in the yurt and left them dry but unwashed because there is no running water? We certainly did not leave a mess other than the dishes on the table that we could not clean. We did not leave any trash, but we also did not clean up old trash that was there when we arrived.
We were also told that the air mattress would not inflate or deflate anymore but it was working (except for the leaking patch) when we left this morning. I would also have rather responded directly to the host but I am unable to due to the new vrbo update.

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the property from day one. The history, the old farmhouse, main house and the views were everything we wanted. We knew from day one we wanted to share the views and property with others by building yurts for glamping.
What makes this property unique
The views are stunning from the wrap around deck. Sit around the campfire and take in all the sights and sounds the National Forest has to offer. The widlife and Barney Creek running thru the property
