The apartment is absolutely lovely and so spacious. The location for Monaco is perfect, especially the escalators back up the hill! The air con also worked really well and was very effective. Thank you very much for a lovely stay

Emily was the perfect guest for our home. Everything went smoothly, She precisely communicated with me from our first contact. She respected and followed the house rules and left the apartment spotless. They will be welcome back any time and I would highly recommend these guests to other hosts.
This apartment had it all: Most beautiful apartment in an amazing complex designed by Gustave Eiffel. You definitely need to explore the building whilst you're there. The apartment itself was furnished with great detail and love and the view was stunning. Location-wise it couldn't be better: direct walk into Monaco easily possible, with a smooth return with the escalators ( sadly still a couple steps at the end but it helps to keep you fit) but still situated in Beausoleil, so Uber is possible and you skip roaming charges from the Monaco phone service. Recommend to come as a family of 3 or 4, since the second bedroom is tiny and more of a convenience-solution, but the master bedroom is impeccable.Free parking on the premises, no need to pay for it.A couple minus points for the acoustics. You can hear every step of the upstairs neighbors. Also, the place obviously is very old and even the elaborate renovations can't hide it. The lighting concept, the bathrooms and upstairs area should be remodeled too to live up to the quality of the rest of the apartment.Nonetheless we would definitely stay there again.

Thank you very much Marisol for your detailed comment.
Looking forward to seeing you again.
My recent stay at this property had both highs and lows. The location was great, and the property itself had potential to be a relaxing getaway. However, there were a couple of items that impacted our overall experience.Upon arrival, we were surprised to find that the view—one of the main reasons we booked this property—was significantly obstructed by construction scaffolding. This was not disclosed ahead of time and took away from the experience we were hoping for. The listing was updated during our stay (in April 2025) regarding construction being present until January 2025, so it was still not accurate. Additionally, both bathrooms had lighting issues, which made them less functional and inconvenient to use, especially in the evenings for the first two nights until the host came to fix them. While the host was responsive, when we inquired about the unexpected issues, we were passed between the host and VRBO. The lack of clarity and accountability made the situation unnecessarily stressful—especially while trying to enjoy a vacation. After we checked out, we got a partial credit for the experience but we wished it was handled more promptly during the stay. In summary, the property has potential, but the miscommunication about the construction and the confusing process around to deal with it detracted from what should have been a smooth and relaxing experience. If we had been made aware of the construction, or if it wasn't present, we would have given 5/5.
We booked our stay at this property for the lovely view and access to the beautiful balcony; however, we found out two days before we were flying to France that there was scaffolding and construction on the balcony outside the building. The pictures that were then place on the website (and have since been removed) were not there when we booked our stay. When we arrived there was no access to the balcony. If you opened the door there was loud construction going on outside and construction dust that filled the apartment. Scaffolding and netting blocked the view. Ildy Marku, the agent, agreed to cancel the reservation and refund the money, but then (after traveling since the day before) we had no place to go. Her assistant, Emma, called VRBO for us and through them we were able to book and pay for another apartment. It took numerous, lengthy phone calls and WhatsApp texts to VRBO and Ildy over the next three weeks with them deciding who was to make the refund, to actually get the refund. For the hour that we were sitting in this apartment I have to say that the parking was terrible, and the pictures of the apartment are nothing like the actual apartment. The upstairs bedroom was just a cramped bed, and the second bathroom, upstairs, was a very small, old bathroom. The kitchen appeared to be more of a kitchenette than a kitchen. The best part of this apartment would have been the balcony, had it been accessible. It is definitely not worth the money that they charge.
