Newly Renovated Camp on Willsboro Bay

This camp has been completely redone on the inside during the winter of 2018/2019! Walking distance to Indian Bay Marina and located on a beautiful spot of Willsboro Bay! A few miles from the town boat launch and golf course. Less than a hour from Lake Placid, VT and Canada. Enjoy a nice walking and biking area as well as great swimming in the summer! Come and relax on beautiful Lake Champlain in this 2 bedroom camp! Beautiful views of Schuyler Island and mountains.

This camp has not only been redone on the inside but it has also been repainted on the outside and has a new septic.

Saturday to Saturday Rentals in July and August are preferred.

Weekend Get-away

What a perfect place to get away! The " Lake House " was not only absolutely beautiful, the hosts thought of everything you could posibly need to make your stay carefree and comfortable. The area is quiet and the view is spectacular...the fire pit was a huge hit, we enjoyed roasting hotdogs & made smores for a special treat!! We would highly recommend and are planning on returning ourselves.

Lovely, freshly renovated cottage on the water

Overall, this is a great place. Lovely small slice of beach. Neighbors are close but not right on top of you. View is gorgeous. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, appliances, etc. Clean and a pretty and new renovation. Very comfortable for 2-4 adults or a small family. (We were two couples.) lots of towels, both beach and bath. (Beach towels were good; bath towels were very linty so next time I might bring my own.) AC is only in the living space, but the nights are very cool so we just switched to windows at night. Checkout was an hour earlier than stated on VRBO (10 not 11) but the hosts were cool about a 10:30 checkout to split the difference. The area is very rural. Perfect for relaxing; not a place for summer nightlife. Ample parking. WiFi worked well, but there is almost no cell signal in the area. The not good: the beds are extremely soft (we had two folks with bad backs who struggled). The entrance rug doesn’t have a no slip pad underneath and so walk in at your own slipping risk. There were also some dirty items in the kitchen; I think previous renters didn’t clean up properly. Would rent again. Great for a quiet, pretty getaway. Hosts clearly are thinking about the needs of guests.

Perfect location

Short ride to both Ausable Chasm, and the auto ferry to Vermont. Probably the most picturesque area of Lake Champlain. Had a wonderful weekend.

Solo Weekend Getaway

After just graduating nursing school I needed somewhere quiet and relaxing to get away and decompress. This property was perfect for that! Super quiet and serene and a beautiful view of the sunset on the lake. Pretty much any kitchen appliance or cooking tools you need are provided so I was able to good some good meals! Overall it was a very relaxing getaway.

Great Place and Stay

This little cabin was just as described. It was modern, clean and just steps to the lake. Beautiful view and I want to come back every season just to experience the view of it all. The kitchen was stocked with pretty much everything you need which made cooking meals easy. Bring everything you need as there are really NO stores around. I loved the "off the beaten path" location and it's a perfect get away for some relaxation. We will stay again.

Great place to stay with beautiful on-the-water views of Champlain.

The owner was very accommodating to our schedule. The place was very clean with new appliances. It is a bit out of the way with very little in the way of big box stores in the area, perfect. Our only drawback was that the ice fishing wasn't very good. Overall, we'd stay again.

Overall it was a great experience! Amazing views of the lake, very modern and clean property with excellent amenities. It’s definitely a bit of seasonal place in terms of local restaurants and stuff but that didn’t bother us. We will definitely be back!

This property was great! It suited our needs for a long weekend away. The place was overall clean and updated. We had some trouble with the lock but the owners were very helpful! We will be back again during warmer weather!

Great place, great value

The view of the lake is amazing and the place is very clean and pleasant. Willsboro is a bit off the beaten track, but we used it as a launching pad to go cross-country skiing near Plattsburgh and in Lake Placid. There are also back country trails nearer the cabin. The place is very clean and warm, though I recommend bringing slippers just because of the type of floors the place has. We would go back.

Great Location!

Had a wonderful vacation in a lovely cabin on Lake Champlain! Just a short stroll to the Indian Bay Pub for waterfront dining. Very friendly folks throughout the area too.

Great trip

The lake wasn’t frozen outside the cabin as we hoped but made for amazing views. Got to explore and fish the area and enjoyed our stay. Very clean and nice.
