Quiet 4 bedroom 3 bath chalet located atop a 2900 ft elevation mountain with adequate accessibility. Just 7 min from the Nantahala outdoor center with white water rafting & other outdoor activities. 20 minutes to Bryson City with the Smokey Mountain railroad, breweries , shopping and restaurants. 25 minutes to Cherokee for gambling. Minutes from waterfalls, great fishing and gem mining. The home includes a hot tub (if not down for maintenance), wood burning fireplace, fire pit ,grill, and beautiful views of the Smokey Mountains. Added security camera on porch can be unplugged for your stay.

Beautiful, relaxing, fun!

Everything was impeccably clean. The views were beautiful and enjoyable to just sit, visit, and take it all in. We started our day enjoying coffee on the porch and finished it with a glass of wine breathing in the beautiful view and quiet sounds of nature. Private but convenient to activities nearby.

Wonderful, peaceful stay!

Due to multiple falls over 2 days, my 65yo body was pretty banged up for the entire stay, but the hot tub was WONDERFUL and it gave us all time to just slow down and enjoy quality time as a family. The house was lovely and our host, Carol, was available by text within minutes if needed. I would go back anytime!

My adult son and I had a fantastic time at this property during the last week of August. The view is, in fact, stupendous! The road to the house was an adventure, but we got the hang of it by Day 2. The house was very clean and comfortable. The location is great; close to all the Deep Creek area hiking, as well as trails on the periphery of the National Park. We enjoyed so many activities and hikes, all within 20 minutes to an hour from the house. Bonus: we got lucky and had unusually cool, clear weather with low humidity for late August, which made the view from the house even better (very little blue haze so we could see everything). Beds and furniture were comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy. Highly recommend!

Clean home with a great view!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Property was clean and as described. About a 20 minute drive to Bryson city, but just down the road from lots of outdoor adventures!

Perfect girls trip destination!

This mountain home has the perfect views!! A friend group went for one of our bdays and we of course let her have “the view” bedroom which was amazing! Everything was super clean, all the bedrooms were great, and then kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Our favorite spot was the porch swing and rockers! We would definitely go back.

On top of having the most gorgeous view, this place had everything you could possibly time. need to accommodate your stay… and then some! Very clean. Great location. Great directions to get there. Owners response time was within minutes. Will definitely be staying here again for a longer period.

Incredible view

By far the best view of any home I’ve ever stayed at. So relaxing to sit in the hot tub and watch the snow fall. House was comfy and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Awesome Mountain Getaway Location

Mother’s Day weekend getaway. The house has an incredible view of the Smoky Mountains and the river. Great deck if the upstairs room called “The View”. The house is stocked with about anything you could ever need. Very comfortable. We all enjoyed our stay very much.

This was an awesome cabin. It was a couples trip. Each couple had their own space and it was a great time. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need. The owners thought of everything needed for a stress free stay. The view was completely amazing. The owners made it a delight to rent from them, very responsive with great details on how to find the cabin. We will definitely be staying there again. Thanks for sharing your home.

Wonderful cabin and views!

Our family rented this cabin over New Years and we cannot say enough good things about this place! The view is absolutely breathtaking and the cabin is so nice and roomy! We had plenty of space for our family with 5 adults and 3 kids! You can tell how much these owners care about their cabin and the people they rent to! So many extra things around the house, like tons of games and toys for the kids! They were so excited, they didn’t even play with any of their new Christmas gifts we had brought! The first night there we were already talking about when we could come back and stay again! The drive to Bryson City is easy and we enjoyed a day walking around and shopping, but we mostly enjoyed spending time together at the cabin! The pictures don’t do this place justice, we will definitely be back!

The Perfect Long Weekend

Spent 4 nights at the property with 4 teens and two adults and took advantage of all the property has to offer. The views were simply the best of any property we have stayed at in the past and therefore we spent a lot of time on the deck (hot tub too) and using the fire pit. Inside we had plenty of bedroom and bathroom space and used the family room to play card games at night. Kitchen is small so not much time spent there other than prepping meals and then heading to the main area. Decor is a little rustic but the property was very clean.....comfy beds. Very close to the NOC and plenty of water activities. Also about 15 minutes from Bryson City and getting onto Fontana Lake which is so so beautiful. Boat rental at both Almond and Alarka are really simple. We also took advantage of some great hiking in the area - Wesser Bald Fire Tower has amazing views. All in all it was the perfect getaway and we hope to be back in the future.
