About this property
A jewel of a cozy cottage on the stream
A lovely and convenient location for this historic house with modern comforts. The back porch sits along a stream and there are two other outdoor sitting areas to relax and enjoy the wonderful nature show. Your view will include bluebirds playing the in the trees and fantastic mountain views. The walk to the main street of town is in the 100s of feet!
This two bedroom home was built in the late 1800s so has all the character of a historic home but the convenience of a kitchen and bathroom that were updated in 2018.
Your creature comforts include two adorable bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Each room has independent heating and can be adjusted for your personal preference. A cute bathroom with a soaking tub and all the amenities to relax and enjoy after a great day of skiing, hiking, riding, walking or whatever! (It is your vacation!) A cozy living/dining area with very comfortable furniture to relax, play games, or watch television. A nice fully equipped and updated kitchen with soft close cabinets, appliances, washer dryer.
The drive to the nearest ski area, Loveland, is 11 miles. You feel a million miles from the city and can relax in this location while being about an hour from Denver.
The shower is in the clawfoot bathtub; a consideration if anyone in your party has a challenge stepping up.
In the summer you can open the windows a little and relax to the sound of the water running in the stream.
This is one of my favorite places to be and I hope it will be yours too.
Please enjoy and make beautiful memories!

Enjoyed our stay here immensely. Mary was a breeze to communicate with before and during our stay. Enjoyed sitting by the creek which was so relaxing, walking to the historic district so close by and the cozy atmosphere of the home. Would definitely stay here again
We absolutely loved our visit to Georgetown. The house was perfect for us and the location amazingly close to the old town square. The stream and Aspen in the outdoor sitting area were so calming and beautiful.
Fully equipped kitchen made for a nice stay at a great cabin. Walking distance to restaurants and shops in a quiet neighborhood. The cabin being right on the creek was awesome!
Fantastic location in a quaint little town. It was so easy to get on the interstate and explore the state. The little creek on the property is beautiful and soothing.
The host was easy to communicate with. The house was old, but quaint, in a wonderful little mining town. The house is located just a block from the center of town, right beside a river. We arrived on Christmas Eve and they had set up a Christmas tree and decorated the house for Christmas. We even had Christmas dishes! We had a great stay and would come back!

This house is super cool. Very historic and was clean and stocked
Always a pleasure to stay at this cozy historic cottage. My husband and I come here a few times a year to get away from Denver. Mary is wonderful and always quick to respond with any issues or questions that arise.
Very impressed with the property, accurately portrayed online. Excellent location can walk to everything in town. Stream is the best, sitting next to it is the best
Charming mountian property with everything you need for comfort. Close to the mainstreet and restaurants. The host was great to work with and extremely responsive. Five stars all the way around!
