Complete and Total oceanfront condo with a lanai (balcony) that almost hangs over the beach. See the ponds below where the turtle and the eels want to come and feed. Let the sounds of the sea make you sleep after a day of sightseeing or relaxation; all bedrooms and living rooms face the sea. Central A/C, King bed, remodeled kitchen, with outdoor dining and beautiful island decor.

Parking, wifi in-condo, & cable TV. Hale Kona Kai is a walk to the Royal Kona Resort, Huggos, and a short walk to the capital, we have a heated swimming pool, an elevator, and a barbecue area.

Hale Kona Kai is a small complex of Three dozen complete oceanfront condos in town but off the beaten track! Located on a quiet side street (75-5870 Kahakai Road) and just a short walk to the village of Kailua-Kona, also known as Kona City. Hale Kona Kai is only a quarter block walk to Honl's white sand beach and a two-block walk to Kona Farmers Market.

Many of the condos are non-smoking. Hale Kona Kai is a smoke-free facility. Each floor has coin-operated washers and dryers for your use. Each condo does not have its own washer/dryer.

Great location, hearing the waves crash was soothing. Plenty of dishes, towels, and beach chairs. The negatives-the AC went out every single night I stayed. The portable AC didn’t do much to cool it down. The bedroom has a weird odor that increases when it heats up due to AC malfunction. The property management was excellent.

Great Stay!

The facility was great, the condo was awesome and would happily stay again in the future. We got to enjoy the sounds of the ocean and watch sea turtles eat from the tide pools from our lanai. The site was quiet as it was off the main road, but was just a short walk to downtown Kailua along Ali'i drive.
