About this property

Open, bright, spacious home with AC in bedrooms, sleeps 9.

Spacious and comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom (plus outdoor shower) home in heart of Princeville. Home sleeps 9 (primary bedroom has a comfortable California King, 2nd bedroom has a queen, 3rd bedroom has a queen bed + twin bunk bed, and upstairs loft area has a twin day bed). And there is AC in all three bedrooms (very few homes on Kauai have AC, so it's a special treat).

Home is spacious with room for everyone. There is a large, open great room with lots of seating, two dining areas, and open kitchen. Primary bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor, which is great for those who can't or don't want to be up and down stairs; 2nd & 3rd bedrooms, 2nd bathroom, and open loft area are upstairs. Open loft is used as second living space with TV & daybed, which can be used for additional sleeping accommodations. There is also an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, great for rinsing off after the beach.

Home comes with lots of quality cookware, dishes, glassware, towels, beach equipment (beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, etc.). There is a gas BBQ on the back patio and a large back yard for privacy or kids to run around. There are also bikes in the garage for you to enjoy. We recommend walking or riding down to the beach lookout to watch the surfers, sunset (always beautiful) or whales breaching (seasonal). Please note: we cannot guarantee quantity or availability of bikes and beach gear as guests sometimes lose or break these items and we are not always able to repair or replace them in between guest stays. If anything is a “must” for you, please communicate with us prior to booking.

Neighbors are quiet and very friendly. The path down to Sealodge beach is 1/4 mile away. Standard rate is for up to six guests.

We loved our time at this property in Princeville. The home is centrally located with easy walking access to beaches and the Princeville walking path. Hanalei and the Princeville center are short car rides away. Kauai has a laidback feel and staying on the north side of the island really brings that to life - and the amenities of the home made it easy to cook most of our meals at home (as there isn't a lot of dining options in the area). The home is well stocked with everything you need to enjoy beach days and the rest the island has to offer. The only thing that wasn't adequately stocked were the bath shampoos/soaps, so we had to run to the store to supplement (or you can bring your own products from home). Otherwise a great property at a great value.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Princeville! It truly had everything we needed for a perfect family vacation. The house was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials, which made settling in so easy. There was plenty of space for everyone, and it felt like a relaxing home base while we explored the island.The host was fantastic—very responsive, and helpful. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood after the busyness of Oahu and really enjoyed our time on Kauai. A fabulous vacation house

Beautiful family home, we had five adults and three teens, plenty of space, the house was clean and in excellent condition, great walking, easy drive to Hanalei Beach, excellent surfing for beginners and intermediates, bicycles all had flat tires and no bicycle pump, all in all a fabulous week.

Little piece of paradise

The home itself was a perfect spot to relax when we weren't out exploring the island. There was nothing more amazing than waking up to the beautiful sounds of birds and smells of the flowers. The home was accommodating and the neighborhood was nice. Hard to leave!

Great house

I spent a week at your property with my son his wife and my grandsons. The location was close to everywhere we wanted to go. It was well stocked for trips to the beach. It was spacious and comfortable for hanging out. A great value !

Aloha & thank you for considering staying in our home. I grew up in Princeville and after attending college and grad school on the mainland, returned to Kauai to start and raise my family. This home has been wonderful for us. We love the home and the neighborhood. We opened our home to vacation renters in 2019 when we decided to check off a bucket list item -- traveling cross country for a year to spend quality time together, visit family, sight see, and learn first hand about our nation's history and cultures. We have since relocated to the Phoenix area for more school and extra curricular opportunities (two of my kids play competitive soccer). We still have a lot of family and friends on Kauai and Oahu so we travel back during school breaks to visit. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.
