Charming cottage set in peaceful, secluded countryside, 0.2 miles from the lake.

Nested behind country rooted trees and smothered in the serene ambience of wildlife infrastructures, is the House of Generations. Built in the late 1980’s and purchased in the early 1990’s by father and grandfather Mr. White with the promise of retirement freedom. The House of Generations exterior is purposely camouflaged to blend with organic nature as the interior is welcomed with fitted personality of the generations before.

Not on property, but less than 0.20 miles walking distance from Lake Sinclair you will find The House (Cottage) of Generations. The cozy cottage is equipped with stainless steel appliances that accent the porcelain hardwood tile to replicate the original hardwood floor that carried the honor of wear and tear of a man that worked countless hours to build upon a dream of a house that could be passed down through generations of his blood line.

The exterior encompass nicks and bruises that have been preserved to show the wherewithal of claiming victory of harsh seasonal battles. Although constructional repair has been completed to provide safety to both visitors and the foundation of which the house stands, the handy work of the owners can still be visually shown.

The interior is welcomed with warm spirits of humility as each room represents the generations before and coming.

This property is cute , clean and very easy entry.It does not have a dining room table if you wanted to play some cards with family.It has a very narrow space at the entry door. Not meaning to be negative just saying for your information.The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds are super comfortable..Bathrooms are super clean, Had towels and wash cloths nicely folded waiting on you to use.Over all it was a pleasant stay.

We were visiting family on the lake, and this was the perfect cottage to rest our heads every night! The owners were great with communication, the house had everything we needed and they even left the sweetest welcome basket of goodies for our arrival (such a nice treat after our long drive up)!

Overall it was good

Overall the house was great!! It was very clean and easy instructions with check in. The house was nice and cozy just what we needed for the weekend. However, I rated this house a 4 star, because it is not as close to the water access as we thought online said it was going to be. Also, you have to pay a $30 cleaning fee, but they give you detailed instructions how to leave the house cleaned. Maybe they have had a bad experience in the past and that is why they do this or maybe all rental houses are this way I am not sure this is our first one.

Great Place for Zen time

It was just what was needed for my time to regroup and oddly enough be safe from our national pandemic. The neighborhood is quiet and the water is literally 2mins away. I enjoyed my time there and communicating with the owners is very easy. I recommend it to anyone looking to get their zen on.

Country Getaway

This property was just what I needed. The guess bedroom bedding was not comfortable. Linen was notted with lintballs and no mattress cover was provide to cover the plastic mattress protector, therefore my guest did not have good night sleeps. There were no TV's in the bedrooms, unusual in this time. Over all our stay was very good.

I thought this property was fantastic! The updates that the owner did were so nice, from the flooring to the hardware, all great touches on this older home! There was even a gift basket full of snacks when we arrived! Thank you for such a wonderful stay at this property...we look forward to booking again!
