If you like to jog, walk, or bike with views of the beach, there's plenty of opportunity to do so on the sidewalks of Gulf Drive. “Stay Salty” is located just a 10-12 minute stroll to several restaurants on Navarre Beach without having to drive. Enjoy Andy's, Juana's Pagodas, Beach House Bar and Grille, or Windjammer on the Pier. Visit the Navarre Beach fishing pier, the longest pier in the Gulf. There’s a small gift shop - fishing poles and bait are available to rent/purchase. Walk the pier for beautiful views! It's not unusual to see sea turtles, jellyfish, fish, dolphins, etc. and the local catches! Sometimes the Blue Angels fly over too :) There's a gas station on Navarre Beach for gas, ice, and snacks. You will have to drive back across the bridge for shopping/grocery needs, but Wal-Mart, Publix, Winn Dixie, and Aldi are all within 5-8 minutes. Get an ice cream at Turtle Roll or a Sno-ball from the famous Tommy's Sno Balls just as the bridge entry. Starbucks, Seven Brew, Dunkin and Deb's Coffee Drive Through, and Perfect Blend Coffee Company are all just over the bridge for morning coffee or an afternoon pick me up. A few of our favorite restaurants are Scooters Fish House (seafood), Alphy's (for breakfast), The Slippery Mermaid (great sushi), Dewey Destin's (quick seafood grab), East Bay Crab House (sit down dining with great seafood and land options), Samurai Japanese Steakhouse, Juana Pagoda's (for the tourist/local setting - on the sound & sand, lively atmosphere, music and volleyball), Andy D's (another beachside setting - often with live music and dancing), and Windjammers on the Pier (for views of the Gulf, the pier, music, volleyball, and casual dining). There are plentiful fast-food options just over the bridge and many quick dining options (Chipotle, Waffle House, Panera, Tropical Smoothie, McDonalds, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Culvers, Whataburger, Subway, Burger King, KFC, Papa Johns, Dominos, Jersey Mikes, Firehouse Subs). Want to experience a different beach setting? Jump in your vehicle and head west towards Pensacola down the Gulf Islands National Seashore. It's a breathtaking ride down the two-lane road with Gulf views on one side and the Sound on the other. Pack up for a Beach Day and stop at Opal Beach – a State Park on the Gulf Islands Seashore (you'll have to pay a small fee for the day), but there's hardly a crowd, lifeguards are on duty (during peak season), public restrooms, showers, and plentiful covered picnic tables are available. It's an absolute gem. There are other public beach access spots that are free along the drive too. There are plentiful beach accesses and public parking near the pier and to the east of the pier with bathrooms and showers if you want to visit these beach spots too. Never know where the best shells are! Visit Pensacola, Ft. Walton, or Destin for additional shopping, dining, etc. These are easy 30–45-minute drives (traffic dependent). Visit the Gulf Breeze Zoo (it's a great zoo for all ages) or Visit the Sea Turtle Center on Navarre Beach Visit Ft. Pickens - a National Park and Historical Fort teeming with wildlife and a natural beach setting rich in history. Paddle board or kayak the Santa Rosa Sound or just go sit by the peaceful waters. Just what we needed for a 8 day stay. Outstanding property a hidden gem. Clean and comfortable. The owners worked with us to arrange our stay. First time using VRBO. We can’t say enough good things about our experience!
Property was as described but the pool was not very inviting as the pictures show it to be. The beach access is down the driveway down the sidewalk to public access is about a10 min walk. The water side that is 3 mins away is the sound park side. I didn’t see anyone in that water so I didn’t even try it. You can catch a beautiful sunset picture though. You need to provide your own beach towels.
I had been staying in another condo but wanted to stay longer and this little gem was available. Jan was super responsive and accomodating. I had to check out by 10am from my condo and was able to get me in by 11am at the other condo (as i had food and all my belongings in my car and didnt want them baking for hours lol). She was very kind and helpful. The neighbor was very sweet and helpful as well. The condo was completely renovated and very nice. I have no complaints. Its relatively close to the pier and restraunts. Would definitely stay again.
Horrible. I thought it was going to be a great little get away from all the chaos the world is in right now. I brought my daughter and her best friend for the end of fall break trip, before school started back. As soon as we arrived and got unpacked and settled, my 11 year old daughter noticed a camera inside the residents above the bed she would be sleeping in. Of course we contacted whoever is over the property and she/he said it was facing the door. There was a wire running to a smoke detector and lord knows if there are any other cameras. The info about the townhouse says there is a camera facing the door, but it does NOT tell you it is inside. When the manager didn't want to do anything but say it was to see if animals were brought it in, we contacted the sherrifs dept and was informed it was against Florida state law to have one in a rental residence, no matter the circumstances. We did a report with them and he told us to contact and attorney. We called VRBO, and informed them. They say they are still investigating the ordeal. My advise to anyone who chooses to rent from here, please don't. It isn't worth your saftey or anyone with you. They told us it was no voice recording and no one had access to it, but everyone knows as well as I do, if it is sent over the internet it can be hacked and anyone can see it. Needless to say we left and traveled 2 hours to PCB and rented from a sweet couple we always rent from in the summer. Needless to say we won't be back to Navarre and a couple of others we have told about the stay said they won't be going back there either.
It was a cute little place but you have to climb stairs to the front door and inside the only bathroom is upstairs also
It was clean except the oven it didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time
This property is so cute and was perfect for my family! We ended up with 5 staying (my mom decided to tag along). 2 adults and 3 children. But sleeping arrangements were perfect with the couch, futon, and fold-away! I rated cleanliness a 4 simply bc the remodel process wasn’t yet complete and we didn’t have a designated parking space bc of some materials. But there was some other parking on the property. Great little cozy spot with easy walking to the beach!
The condo could use a little upgrade
The couch was an,,oldy,,
The water fosset next to staircase wasn't working so we had to use pool shower to rinse off the sand before entering condo
Door is very squeaky, needs some tlc,
The fridge smelled like old fish🤮
The location and people around -amazing ....
We came down for a long weekend vacation and for our wedding! We loved staying here. It was cozy and clean. Perfectly placed. We could walk across the street to visit some guests that came down, walk to the pier, the beach, and local restaurants. The pool was clean and all the neighbors were very sweet. We hope to return next year!
Little issue with lock on front door no big deal. Jan was very pleasant and helpful. Great having pool right outside the door. Very close to the beach and very quiet.
Close to everything, clean, beautiful area. We were a little disappointed in the winding staircase up to the bedroom. It was impossible to get our luggage up there and the bed wasn't very comfortable. Overall the stay was nice.

Thank you for staying with us! Remodeling taking place in the winter. No more spiral stairs! Thank you for letting me know about the bed. Again thank you for staying with us

I was emailed the directions of how to get in our property. The directions were very easy to follow. We had no issues. Everything was very clean. Also had everything that was listed on the website. Highly recommend staying here! The I ly thing I would have done differently is maybe gotten a little bigger one. We had never really been on vacation so this was a learning experience all the way around. Ms Janet was very helpful!!
This worked well for our young family. Easy access to the pool, beach and pier. The stairs are a little tricky inside with a narrow spiral staircase. Thanks for the accommodations and getaway to the beach!
The property was clean and completely ready for our stay. Cable TV, Air Conditioning, Internet and all Appliances including the Washer & Dryer worked flawlessly.
Close to lots of great places to walk to and eat & drink & meet friends. Beach and Pier just a short walk and a great shortcut to Pensacola Beach through the Sanctuary.
I can't say enough good about the stay and Jans' support to have it ready for us and a quick easy checkout.
THE BEST! Just an AWESOME STAY!!!
