The house is very cute and all of the extras - fluffy towels, umbrellas by the door, different soaps in the bathroom, etc. make it extra special. It was quiet and very easy to get to all the places we needed to.Working with Jennings was very easy.
Great host who is responsive and attentive. Property is in a great location to visit College of Wooster and specifically, very close to stadium. Easy process, very comfortable stay for our family.
We enjoyed the house during our recent visit to Wooster. The host was very responsive to our questions and generous with snacks! The clean, convenient and cozy home was just what we needed after traveling and busy days while on our trip.
What a great house. It is so cozy and two blocks from the stadium. We walked back and forth to our daughter’s game. We will definitely stay here again.
This property met all of our needs perfectly. The location near the College of Wooster was great. The house was neat as a pin, very tastefully decorated, comfortable and gave a cozy feel. Because the weather was nice, we were able to enjoy the backyard patio.
This place is just a few blocks from the Wooster campus. It was clean, neat and comfortable. It had a Keirug machine and a drip coffee maker, as well as a some snacks.
I'd definitely stay here again when visiting the college.
We enjoyed the house. It has a lot of character and a nice feel to it. The only complaint is that the beds were not the most comfortable, but we are spoiled with our bed at home
Excellent communication from start to finish. We were traveling for work. After an 8 hr drive it was nice to be able to come in to the little extras like coffee, snacks and cold water in the fridge. This to me was above and beyond.
My wife and I come to Wooster each summer to take in the Ohio Light Opera performances and were happy with the proximity of the Cozy Cottage to the theater. The neighborhood was nice and we felt safe walking through it to the campus. The Cottage was roomy and nice and had all the appliances we needed. The beds were not as comfortable as we would have expected. Also we were asked to do clean up tasks the day before we were to check out, such as stripping the beds, putting sheets and towels in specific hampers, and taking out the garbage and recycling , that we were not expecting to have to do on the morning we were to check out. Those are tasks we would have done anyway, but we did not know it was required until the night before we were to check out.

Ronald, thank you again for staying in our house. The tasks you mentioned are pretty standard for short term rentals. It helps us in turnover for preparing for our next guests. As far as the beds are concerned, it is difficult to find a happy medium between those who prefer a soft or firm mattress. Thanks again and we hope you stay with us again.
Cute little house with lots of character. Plenty of towels and amenities but only one roll of toilet paper (luckily we travel with our own as this has happened at other places). As another review had stated the bed was very uncomfortable (we bought a pillow topper from Walmart and left it behind for the next guests). I emailed the owner and only received a I’m sorry didn’t know. Other than these couple of items it was worth the stay. The only reason for the 4 star was due to the response when told about these issues when clearly the last reviewer stated the beds were also uncomfortable.
House was dirty. Cleaned tub 3 times with bleach and soft scrub. Washer and dryer was in Spider infested wet basement. Water was coming in through the walls. Dehumidifiers electrical cords were in soaking wet floors. Had to be careful not to get electrocuted. There was a syringe with needle in dresser. Furnace filter wasn’t changed since 2019. Knob and tub wiring mixed in with romex wiring. Not up to code. Outlet had in kitchen had 2 and 3 prong outlets. Over priced!! Should get half our money back. Should be condemned. From the moment Janet checked in she started complaining and asking for a refund. Please check our other reviews for a more accurate review of our house. As you can see from other reviews our cleaning service does a very good job of keeping the house in excellent condition. Some people just want to complain in hopes they will get a refund.
Beyond being able to stay in a clean, nicely situated home for four days while in Wooster, it was a joy to have some condiments and provisions in the home to utilize like mustard, cinnamon, honey, bottles of water and the list goes on. Also, it was kind of the owner to have a tray of baked goods waiting upon our arrival.
The owner was responsive to our needs.
Additionally, it was great to easily walk to the shops and restaurants on Liberty Street, as well as to the College of Wooster.
The home was exactly as described with all the little perks! The Keurig with many coffee options was a huge win along with all the little essentials throughout the home. Super clean. Thank you to Jennings for his flexibility and communication throughout the stay! Definitely one of the best Vrbo stays we have had!
We had a great stay and found the house well equipped and clean. We were tired and hungry when we got in and were so happy to find some locally made cinnamon rolls waiting for us. After a long drive we were very happy to stay in this lovely home. Thank you so much!
We were in town for a quick visit to the College of Wooster and stayed at Jennings super cute house. It’s just a block or so from the campus and not far from the downtown area (easily walkable). The house is very nicely appointed with comfortable furniture, ROKU tv and a well equipped kitchen. We were only there for a short stay but would happily return! Jennings quickly responded to my questions. It was an excellent trip! Thank you for sharing your home. Hope to be back.
