Located in tranquil and beautiful Central Istria with its micro-climate that boasts over 2700 hours of sunshine annually, this superb detached stone villa with 4 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities and private pool has fabulous views over the surrounding vineyards and olive groves.
Balconies and large upstairs terrace areas being accessed from bedrooms for relaxation and additional privacy.
Fully equipped kitchen furnished with Italian furniture, cooker on gas, fridge with deep freeze,dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and all cooking utensils at at your disposal.
Comfortable living room with comfy seating, new 55 inch flat-screen TV, two PlayStations with games for guests. Additional LCD Tv for PlayStation gaming available. Wifi internet and music set and Sat Tv also available.
All bedrooms are comfortable with double and large double beds each one with private bathroom, 2 with showers and 2 with bath tubs.

Outside the house is large terraced area and covered outside dining area for 8 persons. Built-in BBQ and external sink. Private 50 sqm pool complete with highest quality sun loungers, sun umbrellas and tables. Landscaped 1200 sqm private garden with excellent views. Parking for at least 2 vehicles inside gate to villa.


How to get there: 1.Airports: Pula 65 km, Rijeka-Krk 90 km, Trieste 90 km, Venice 190 km, Ljubljana .There are several routes: there is a Ryanair service direct to Pula which gives the shortest transfer of 40 minutes in Istria, Ryanair from Stansted to Trieste (2 hour transfer). Ryan Air flies to Pula from Stansted on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from £16.99 each way. There is a number of low cost companies flying to Pula (PUY) from all over Europe. 2. Rent a car – when you know your flight details, we can help you organizing your rent-a car-service. 3. If you are travelling here by car - Motovun is very easy to find and once there you just can't miss the villa's location.

Additional Services: One day return trip to Venice by boat from Porec - we can help you organise a trip - You can rent a mountain bike and take it on the wonderful 'Parenzana' trail. The trail used to be an old rail road and it goes across vineyards and forests with the tunnels and bridges still preserved.

Delightful stay in peaceful area

Very well situated stay in a tranquil setting. Barbara and Andrej were very efficieint in checking us and providing all the info we needed. The villa was clean and well furnished and the pool area was wonderful. Great option for those who just want to relax or want a base in Istria to go and explore. Highly recommend.

Wonderful house in a stunning location

Situated up the road to a small hilltop town (Vrh), Villa Monte is surrounded by small vineyards and rolling hills in a private, beautiful and peaceful rural setting. We really enjoyed relaxing in one of the many outdoor areas in the sun or the shade, and always found great views over the green and varied surroundings (don´t miss the great sunsets over the medieval town of Motovun!). The house is built in Istrian stone but contrary to many older stonehouses it is very bright and roomy inside with high ceiling and lots of big windows and glassed doors. The interior was spotless and very comfortable. The open plan livingroom was great for socialising and the kitchen perfectly equipped. All the bedrooms were great but the two bedrooms with direct access to the terrace/ pool were more than we ever hoped for. Waking up and taking a morning swim in our own pool just a few steps from the bedroom with the sun shining, birds singing and great views for miles was simply incredible! There is sun from dawn to dusk but also great outdoor areas that are shaded. We made day trips all over Istria and nothing was more than an hours´ drive. Beautiful and historic Motovun and Groznan were only 15-20 minutes away. Novigrad was a pleasant surprise, almost a miniRovinj but with a lot fewer tourists 25 minutes away by the sea. Our favorite restaurant was the family run Konoba 2 km up the hill in Vrh with beef to die for! We found Villa Monte to be a genuine five star accommodation and did not want to leave! Finally a big thanks to Barbara and Andrej who made sure our stay was such a complete success! We will definitely be back next year. If you are looking for a truly wonderful place for you and your family/ friends away from the busy holiday crowds Villa Monte is it!

Relax assoluto

Molto rilassante. Casa molto confortevole e pulita. Ampi spazi con privacy esterna e interna. Piscina panoramica e pulita (senza cloro). Cucina full optional, ampia e fruibile. Valido barbecue che fa il paio con l’ampio patio nel quale cenare . Ampio terrazzo al piano superiore per guardare le stelle cadenti. Esperienza da ripetere

Schönes Haus ruhige Lage

Hatten einen sehr schönen ruhigen Urlaub mit Kindern. Etwas weit zu allem, aber entspannt machbar. 30 min ans Meet. 20 min zum Supermarkt. Gute Zimmeraufteilung, Pool, Garten, Ausstattung alles fein.

ein sehr schönes Haus mit viel Ruhe.

Das Haus liegt sehr schön in einer ruhigen Landschaft. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt. Nachteilig war, dass alle Geschäfte nur mit dem Auto erreichbar sind. Aber das wussten wir ja schon aus der Beschreibung. Der Pool hat für viel Spass und Abkühlung gesorgt. Die Argentur war bei allen kleinen Problemen ansprechbar. Ein und Auschecken verlief reibungslos.

Traumhafte Lage

Wir waren eine Woche dort und es war traumhaft. Die Aussicht spricht absolut für sich! Das Haus und der Pool war sehr schön und gut gepflegt. Die Lage ist super wer keine störenden Nachbarn haben möchte ist absolut richtig!

Sehr schöne Lage

Wir waren 2 Wochen dort. DasHaus und die Umgebung ist sehr schön. Was die Sauberkeit angeht , könnte um einiges besser sein. Überall waren Spinnweben und Staub. Ein großes und kleines Handtuch standen nur jeweils eine für pro Person zur Verfügung und gewechselt wurde 1×wöchentlich .Das war natürlich zu wenig, dafür das im Inserat Handtücher zur Verfügung stand. Zudem ist Waschmaschine am 2.Tag kaputt gegangen und hat 1 Woche gedauert um es zu reparieren. War sehr unangenehm, da sich Schmutzwäsche gestapelt zudem bei dem knappen Handtücher. Im Haus waren ständig überall in jedem Zimmer Krabbeltiere (Hundert-oder Tausendfüßler, Silberfische , Spinnen ,Wespen, Fliegen ,Moskitos, etc.)konnten nichts auflassen , weil keine Fliegengitter vorhanden sind. Swimmingpool war schön und sauber und wurde regelmäßig gereinigt. Die Dame von der Agentur war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und war sehr bemüht . Ich würde es schon weiter empfehlen, wenn aber erstmal der Kammerjäger da war um es von Ungeziefer zu befreien und Fliegengitter dran wären. Bei den Handtücher sollte der Vermieter vielleicht Ersatzhandtücher zur Verfügung stellen oder es sollte genau bei Inserat beschrieben werden, damit man selbst welche mitbringt.

Dear Nurcan, we are glad you liked the house, although we are surprised with some of your allegations. Upon arrival we enabled you with an early check-in. The house was cleaned thoroughly between previous guests and you (professional service cleans it) and you also got a full cleaning halfway through your stay because you complained. Usually we provide 1 set of towels per guest per week (1 large towel, 1 medium towel + beach towel for deck-chair around the pool), after a week is a change. You called us after only two days that your towels were dirty and you needed clean ones. You also broke down the washing machine (by overloading), which we were able to repair during your stay. While the washing machine was not working we provided you with an extra set of towels. At departure we were surprised in which conditions you left the house: you left a very dirty house, unwashed dishes, every surface full of garbage, in every room and every bathroom a full bag of garbage, a lot of half-full plastic bottles, you did not recycle garbage, etc., etc.
