We have been to a lot of cabins in the mountains with incredible views but this will be a very hard one to beat. Pictures do not do it justice at all! We had an amazing time at the cabin, at the dock, and on the lake on the pontoon. The atv was quite an adventure as well. Will be back!

This makes our 3rd year in a row visiting the Lazy Elk, and we look forward to returning next year, and hopefully each year, Good Lord willing. We absolutely love it here and cannot imagine there could be a more beautiful or relaxing place to be. The hosts are wonderful and provide a marvelous place for the perfect getaway— hot tub, ATV, private dock, and a clean and well appointed cabin. The views are God’s handiwork!! And they are phenomenal!! Our only complaint is that time seems to go much too fast when we’re here!! We never are ready to leave.

We had an excellent time at this beautiful property, the ride down to the lake was very exciting on the ATV, but I would say it would be an arduous walk downhill that you need to be aware of as well as there is a small foot path that my child did fall down a couple of times, so you would need to be in good shape definitely not for someone who was elderly or out of shape. The views are incredible and the lake and waterslide are beautiful and amazing. We would definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was wonderful and the most spectacular view. I would just say if you have really little kids the walk to the dock you need to be extra careful. Other than that, it’s a great cabin!

The host responds quickly. Very helpful. The property is very clean and well stocked. The ATV is a game changer. I rented the boat and that also made our family vacation all the more fun. The hot tub was a great way to end our day. The playground was a hit for the little ones. Overall great property.

Cabin is beautiful with amazing views as described on the site. The deck and its amenities was expansive and spent a lot of time sitting outside and enjoying the space. Cabin was also very clean upon arrival. We found the master bed to be very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and meals.

Everything was perfect!! Best family vacation we have ever had! Eric and Amy are wonderful to work and communicate with. Amazing view, beds were comfortable, had all cooking utensils you would need for family dinners. Kiddos enjoyed the pool table and games provided. Adults enjoyed cornhole and relaxing. We are already planning our next vacation stay here
