Beautiful, roomy, sunny 2BR, 2 BA old style Florida beach house and only 200 yards to beautiful Lido Beach. Short, easy walk to all the shops and dining at St. Armand's Circle. Relax on the front porch or in the courtyard out back. 2 bikes provided, ride to Lido Key Park or St. Armand's Circle in less than 5 minutes. Everything you need for the beach is included, just pack your suitcase and enjoy the sunsets. Take the free Bay Runner Trolley from the beach to downtown Sarasota and have your groceries delivered from Publix and you will have no need for a rental car!
Note: Lido Key does not allow dogs on the beach. There is a small beach on Bird Key nearby that is dog friendly.

What a great home. You can tell “ one of the originals”. Kitchen had everything needed. Beds very comfortable and plenty of towels. TV easy to work and great WiFi. Walked to beach- had lunch on covered beach access. Great shopping at St.Armands

Lido Key Getaway!

Lovely week on Lido Key! Great weather, clean place to stay. Super close walk to beach! Plenty of extras in and at the house to make it very enjoyable! Lots of restaurants close by. We WILL be back 😊

Great little Beach Bungalow

Really nice time! The house was very well stocked with any thing you could have possibly needed. Very clean! Good parking! Beautiful & convenient

The house is extremely comfortable. I’ve rented through many other rental sites several times over the years and have never been to a home that was as well-stocked as this one. A First Class Experience

LaVeda was the perfect host, could not have asked for anything more. The house was clean, well-stocked and perfectly located within walking distance of the beach and St Armands Circle. Great Cottage by Lido Beach!

We had a wonderful 9 night stay near Lido Beach! The cottage is clean, nicely furnished, well appointed and well stocked, perfectly located, comfortable, bright and airy. This cottage is exactly as you see in the photos. It is cute. It is comfy. It’s in a great location. We felt safe. We were walking distance to many”things to do” Our communication with owner was 100% quick & positive. We had no issues/problems. We would choose this house again. We had an amazing vacation. One issue

The local beaches do not allow dogs on or off leash at any time of day or night. Great house, steps away from the beach, but a beach I couldn’t go to with my dog so that doesn’t work. Also red tide can give some people respiratory issues so that’s something to keep in mind if you like to be in or near the water

Enjoyed everything about our stay. All amenities were great so many that usually are not included in a rental home. Our dog enjoyed the backyard and walks to the beach. The beach is so close we visited multiple times a day. Kitchen is fully stocked so we were able to even package up food in containers in our igloo. Everything was very clean, with beautiful calming colors. Will definitely return if we can even get it again. It’s always booked. Lastly, the host was very accommodating and responsive.

Location, Location, Location

We had a great time in Sarasota; we met my wife's brother and his wife. We loved the location of the property; you could walk almost everywhere you needed to go. It was the most equipped VRBO property we have experienced. The property was excellent and well decorated with art. The host was awesome and very accommodating. We will definitely return; highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay again this year. We stayed for two weeks this time and the time just flew by everything in the house was beautiful. Everything we needed was there couldn’t ask for a better place to stay really close to the beach just one block away and also had a swimming pool next to the Lido Beach Pavilion, that was accessible Communication with the owners was fantastic. Couldn’t ask for anything better.

Charming Beach Cottage

We live in rural Indiana, but enjoy spending time in Lido Key, Gatlinburg and Nashville. After a lifetime of social work, we are looking forward to some down time. For now, our grand kids are keeping us busy and young at heart.

Why they chose this property

This area has been a part of our lives since the 70s. We have always dreamed of owning a beach house with Old Florida charm and this was the perfect choice. We hope you enjoy the home and area as much as we do.
