About this property

Beautiful furnished safaritent with private bathroom in separate building (4-p.)

We have 3 luxuriously furnished safari tents on large plots. The safari tents are situated in the countryside of northern Netherlands, close to the cosy city of Groningen, the forests of Drenthe and the Frisian lakes. The safari tents have a kingsize bed and one or two bunk beds. The safari tents sleep 4 people. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area, dining table with chairs and an outside terrace. There is free parking and WiFi and a private bathroom in the adjacent sanitary building.
We have 2 safari tents on 5000m2. There are two big ponds with waterlily's, a vegetable garden for you to pick from and some free roaming chicken. Your children will love to collect the eggs. There a binoculars in the tents for them to observe the animals. There is swimming in natural water in front of your accommodation. We have canoes for rent. There is also a 4-persons electrical boat. Nearby is lake Leek where you can rent a sailing boat. The cosy city of Groningen is only 8 miles away and can be reached by bicycle. There are several quaint villages nearby. We have all the info in the safari tents. If you want, we can cook breakfast or dinner for you.

Guter Ort für Familien (mit etwas Glück mit dem Wetter)

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, viel Platz um die Zelte herum und auch gute Ausstattung innen. Für Kinder eine gute Erfahrung auf dem Gelände mit weitem Blick ins Land. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr um uns bemüht - für das Aprilwetter konnten sie nichts, aber ein paar Lagen Klamotten und Gummistiefel sollte man dabei haben. Groningen in der Nähe war eine echte Entdeckung, mit vielen guten Orten für die kühlen Regentage. Und Paddeln in der Abendsonne hat auch noch geklappt.

Mooie locatie, leuke Safari tent. Volledig ingericht en een gezellige palletkachel. Douche en toilet zijn mooi en schoon en privé. Heerlijk bedden opgemaakt . Echt leuk geweest zo leuk om nog een x terug te gaan.

Hans und Gerdine waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam! Es gab sogar selbstgebackenen Zitronenkuchen. Köstlich! Wir haben in dem tiny house gewohnt, ecolodge. Es war super gemütlich! Unsere Kinder waren begeistert von dem Spitzboden im Dach und von dem großen Trampolin im Garten. Groningen hat uns sehr gut gefallen und ein Tag auf Schiermonnikoog war superschön! Sehr zu empfehlen!

sehr idyllisch und entspannend

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im sehr gut ausgestatteten Safarizelt sehr genossen. Ein kleines Gärtchen, wo man sich bedienen kann, ein Grill, eine kleine Feuerstelle, ein eigenes Bad (in separatem Häuschen), ein Willkommens-Kuchen...was will man mehr. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Amazing, relaxing place with great facilities for adults and kids

So peaceful and tranquil. We had an amazing stay in the safari tent and circus wagon. The kids absolutely loved the trampolines, sand pit and hiring the kayak. It was a great retreat for adults from the business of city visits! Accommodation was really well thought out and had everything you could want. Bathrooms were also really clean and modern. A perfect place to stay!

Tolle Mischung aus Zelt und Ferienhaus!

Für alle dich sich ein bisschen vor dem Zelten fürchten, aber gerne mal ein etwas anderes Ferienhauserlebnis haben möchten! Das Safarizelt ist quasi ein Ferienhaus mit Zeltwänden. Es war wunderbar nachts im Bett die Geräusche der Natur zu hören und den Wind in den Zeltplanen. Da waren nicht nur die Jungs begeistert. Das Bad ist zwar nicht mit im Zelt, dafür hat man aber ein eigenes, dass nur einen Katzensprung entfernt ist. Man lebt viel mehr im Freien als bei einem echten Ferienhaus. Die Gastgeber Gardine und Hans sind sehr nett und immer zu Stelle und bieten einen wunderbaren Service, fast wie im Hotel. Man kann sogar Frühstück dazu buchen, dass sehr gut ist. Es standen frische Blumen im Zelt und im Bad, Handtücher und Wäsche gehören mit zum Service und werden bei Bedarf gewechselt! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder!

Alles super

Wir waren im September da. Gerade für die Kinder echt toll. Es gibt viele Unternehmungen für die Kids und auch für die Eltern gibt es in groningen viel zu shoppen. Alles in allem super.
