If you don’t want to wake up to Sand Hill Cranes tapping at your bedroom window, or the backyard teaming with White Ibis, Tricolored Heron, Great Blue Herons or a Little Blue Heron you shouldn’t stay here lol. My Granddaughter and I are avid birders and we were literally in our glory! Songbirds are too numerous to list. This home was very comfortable and a short Lyft ride into Historic Downtown Sanford.

This house is in a great neighborhood. House was very clean and exactly as described. Hosts are amazing and very good communication. Easy check in and out. Also very accommodateing when I needed an extra day. Definitely recommend and will be back!!!

it was so peaceful. The views of the lake are spectacular. The sitting area on the dock is perfect. Watching sunrises and sunsets! The house was clean and comfortable. Just what we needed!

Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Definitely enjoyed mornings on the dock and evenings on the lanai. Location was close to the airport and our wedding venue, as well as downtown Sanford. It was a pleasure to meet the owner (Jay) and have a welcoming conversation with him. Would definitely rent here again!

We came to FL with another couple for the Daytona 500 and a couple of days at Disney - this house was in a perfect location for both! It was very clean, well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. The screened-in back patio was wonderful for morning coffee. The host was very responsive to a couple of questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

My family & I enjoyed the cleanliness of the house & rooms. I want to thank Jay for quickly responding to my questions before & even after we arrived. We have been visiting family that live in the area for a couple of years now. Alderwood Lake House is the only place that truly felt like home away from home. God Bless ur family, Jay. Everything was satisfactory and the kitchen had everything we needed. Area was peaceful and quiet. There may be a problem with the one smoke detector between the 2 room because one time the other smoke detector went off, but that one did not. Would stay there again.
