Chalet Arsene et Lea is an OVO Network property. It is a 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms restored farmhouse for 8 (max 7 adults) spread over 2 floors, and 170m2 of floor space. 

The OVO Network team’s opinion -

The first floor is a large open plan space with a more contemporary sofa area, a bunk room corner (which is not closed off completely) a library, a play area and a double ensuite bedroom, the roof of which forms the floor of a mezzanine area which is another double sleeping area, beneath the eaves of the chalet, open to and overlooking the the rest of the first floor. The photos and 360 degree virtual tour photos on the website describe the spaces perhaps more clearly than these words! 

The chalet sits above the road 1km from the slopes at Croix Fry , 6km from Manigod village, ensuring easy access to the hill for nervous drivers even in heavy snow conditions. The south facing balcony is a perfect spot from which to view the Tour de France when it passes this way.

With superb views from the terrace outside the dining area, and the sauna in the mazot, Arsene and Lea is one unique property that we know family groups and groups of friends appreciate tremendously.

Please note that Chalet Arsène & Léa is situated on the main road to the Col de la Croix Fry (where the ski fields are), which makes it very convenient in winter but does mean that in busy periods there can be a fair amount of traffic noise.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

We had a wonderful stay. The chalet is close to all the hiking routes and well situated for a stunning mountain view. The only downside is how close it is to a busy road.

We loved everything about the chalet itself and the location

My family had a great stay here. We loved everything about the chalet itself and the location: the authenticity of the chalet design; the easy and relaxing upstairs lounge space; the sauna; the wonderful views. We found the location of the road to be a benefit as the traffic was minimal and we did not have to leave the main road in the snow, which would have been a challenge for us!

The chalet is in a fantastic location with breathtaking views. As a family of four, we had plenty of space to relax. We enjoyed the open fire in the evenings. Sophie, the property manager, was extremely helpful.

We loved the beautiful outdoor space with the terrace, garden, sauna, and lovely view! The chalet is large enough for a big group and offers a great starting point to discover this beautiful region - just be aware that there are only 2 bedrooms with doors, and the chalet is right on the main road through the pass, so there can be quite some traffic noise.

Très joli chalet à partager en famille. Très propre, situé à 500 m des pistes de ski de descente et de ski de fond et au pied de la navette du bus. Le chalet est très spacieux sur 2 niveaux, ce qui laisse un bel espace de vie pour chacun. Le second étage est juste magnifique.

Der Empfang der Managerin war sehr herzlich. Die Kommunikation mit ihr war sehr einfach und zuvorkommend. Im Haus haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles da, was wir für 10 Tage brauchten. Das ganze Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt. In der Umgebung sind schöne Wanderungen. Die Radfahrer kamen in beide Richtungen, bergauf und bergab auf ihre kosten.

Magnifique séjour dans cette vallée très accueillante. Vue du chalet époustouflante, terrasse au milieu de la verdure. Accueil parfait de Sophie qui nous attendait. Chalet cocooning, très bien équipé, avec de grands espaces. Nous étions 8 et chacun a aimé son espace. Literie très confortable, cuisine parfaitement adaptée, plusieurs espaces "salon". Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le sauna au bois. La route, bien que très proche, ne nous a absolument pas gênés à cette période de l'année. Station de ski alpin/de fond à 1,5 km, avec animations et départ de nombreuses randonnées.

Excellent séjour au chalet Arsène et Léa. Il est spacieux, cosy et fonctionnel. La vue sur les montagnes est magnifique. Le jardin est très agréable également, avec en prime un sauna. Un petit bémol sur la douche du bas qui inonde vite la salle de bain. Merci pour l'accueil de Sophie.

Chalet Spacieux et Confortable avec Sauna et Équipements Complétés

Le chalet est spacieux et agréable pour une famille. La proximité de la route le rend un peu bruyant à certains moments de la journée et de la nuit. L'équipement est complet, bien qu'un petit "rafraîchissement" de la vaisselle soit nécessaire. Il y a des jeux de société, des livres, des luges, une cheminée avec du bois fourni, et le petit plus : un sauna dans le jardin. Je recommande vivement.

Un chalet chaleureux et convivial où l’on se sent bien. Tout a été bien pensé et décoré avec goût. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les parties de pétanque dans le jardin avec une vue époustouflante sur les sommets encore enneigés. La terrasse est très agréable et le terrain de pétanque est un plus appréciable !
