A truly beautiful location! The cabin was comfortable and even more spacious than the pictures made it seem (three full bedrooms of decent size). We would love to go back.
Been at grand beach the last 5 years. This by far has the best views!

This property has everything needed for a beach vacation. The beds are really comfortable and everything is operational. Most relaxing vacation we’ve had in years. Will definitely try to stay here again.
Great spot for families with 3 beds/bedrooms and bonus 3 pull out couches to spread out. Beautiful lake sunset views on the porch and only a short walk to the beach!
Walking distance to the beach. Beautiful sunset view from porch!

This is a terrific cabin where you can hear the waves lapping outside your door and watch the most fabulous sunsets. The cabin is modest, but is super comfortable and has everything you need. Great and responsive hosts and the most beautiful setting in the world. But I grew up there and I'm a little biased. Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of paradise.
Had a great time at the cabin. Located at the end of the block road that you are looking out into the water instead of the other cabins. Arrived a bit early and they let us check in which was super helpful as it was starting to rain. Could use some dish towels as all they had was bathroom towels. All in all, had a lovely time.
We booked this place as it had a great rating and the pictures looked to be what we were looking for. 4 adults and 1 5yr old. Perfect size for our group. Checking super easy. We liked the privacy it offered being law front. Sunroom is wonderful and spent most of our time in it, when we weren’t enjoying Grand Beach. Bed comfortable. Nice large bathroom. Shower was hot, overall cleanliness was good. Great little spot to enjoy. Kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you
This property is just beautiful! The view of the lake is spectacular to say the least. Sitting on the wrap around deck, the lake is right there for your viewing pleasure. Who could ask for a more relaxing and lovely moment. One evening we could see and hear the waves crashing against the shore. Just lovely! I would love to go back but spend a week instead of a few day.
The cabin is well equipped for your everyday needs. Fridge, stove, tv etc. I am sure this is one of the first property's at Grand beach because of its location. There is most likely some great history to be told about this rustic cabin. Maybe one day I will find out.
Sincerely, Valerie
The location is really ideal. Lakefront and really no neighbours on either side. The front deck and porch are excellent spaces to just “be” and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We had rain the first few days and it was so relaxing just hanging out in the enclosed porch. Very spacious and everyone had a space to call their own.
The furnishings in the porch were different from the photos posted in the listing. There is no bar height table with chairs, but rather another sofa and chair, ottoman. This worked well for us.
One of the things to be aware of is that there is a public path that runs in front of the cabin. It took us by surprise to see people walking past but learned it was in frequent use.
I would recommend this cabin as a great getaway option for anyone wishing for a lakeside experience.
Nice place, amazing sunroom, comfortable beds. Had everything we needed (bring your own paper towels if you want). Being at the end of the road and overlooking the lake, the location was perfect. Short walk to the beach, and walking paths along the lake in the other direction. Found a perfect spot seconds away to view northern lights in all their glory. I recommend bringing extra blankets when the nights are cool, for outside night sky viewing.
Property was well kept and clean. Plenty of room for everyone and screened porch was beautiful for meals and such. Tons of amenities including full kitchen and all dishes/utensils.
This property is right on the water. The water is down a little cliff so there’s no really easy spot to access the water though. The main bathroom has been fully renovated. There is also a second two piece bathroom off one of the bedrooms which is not listed but is awesome. Walking distance to the beach, no need to drive. AC worked pretty good. The sunroom is where we always sat. The microwave, toaster and are on the same fuse so be careful as we blew the breaker a few times. There is only one outlet for the coffee maker, toaster and microwave. Was low on soap and toilet and no paper towel but the owner brought us toilet paper and compensated for us going out to buy soap. All in all a great place. Would be back and would definitely recommend!
The Cabin was clean and Fantastic view. It's just the water has a smell but overall it was good.

Disappointing
We booked 4 nights in mid-July; left early. We minimized our time in the cottage due to issues noted below, but enjoyed the beaches, especially East Beach, which was new to us and worth the drive.
This would be a good rental if 3 items were improved: flooring, cleaning and instructions.
1. Flooring - Old, stained carpet is presumably the source of the door that we were told is “just the way old cottages smell.” The odor was most noticeable in the largest bedroom. Shampooing the carpets probably won’t refresh them at this point; replacement with flooring similar to the kitchen would help.
2. Cleaning - The nice wrap-around deck facing the water wasn’t inviting until we thoroughly swept the cobwebs away and dusted off the chairs. Indoors, the carpets looked and felt dirty. Guests are instructed to vacuum carpets before leaving, but the vacuum is not very powerful.
3. Instructions - A binder gives detailed check-out instructions, but no information about cottage facilities, other than Wifi code. Most importantly, there are no instructions about water for drinking and cooking. Upon arrival, we texted the manager to find out whether the tap water was safe. She noted that the well water has an unpleasant smell and recommended boiling. Previously, when we’ve rented a cottage where tap water is not meant for drinking, a jug of drinking water was provided, with instructions on where to refill it. It turns out street side taps provide treated water here, but that wasn’t mentioned. Ideally, information about water would be provided before guests arrive; in any case, this is essential information to include in the binder.
Three items on the plus side: the sunroom is pleasant; there is an ensuite bathroom connected to the large bedroom (not mentioned in the listing); and the main bathroom has been modernized (listing photo does not match the 2021 bathroom).
What a beautiful spot. Ten minutes walk to the beach, stunning sunsets to watch with a drink in hand while the breeze cools you down in the evening. Screened in porch is a wonderful spot to read. This cozy cabin has a new shower in one bathroom and an on suite off the master bedroom. We hope to be back next year!
We rented this cabin for 2 nights and will definitely be back. The location is beautiful, right on water. My kids and I climbed down the rocks and enjoyed watching and listening to the waves. Morning view for coffee on the deck definitely a perfect start to the day.
The beach is incredible, and there is delicious icecream on the boardwalk.
Thank you for making our quick getaway a wonderful family vacation!
Our experience in Erica's property was just lovely. It was cozy, serene and topped off with a jaw-dropping lake view right off the wrap around porch. The property was very well stocked with cookware, cutlery, linens, garbage bags, towels, beach chairs and a fully functional new grill along with all new grill tools and extra propane. We also enjoyed the wifi and netflix.
Erica's responses were prompt and the information was very clear with check in and check out.
Our only comment would be that the washroom was a little bit outdated.
