Amazing property in a great location in Hampton. Walking distance to a little trail that takes you down to the beach. Loved the huge living area so we could all hang out while cooking/playing pool/watching tv. The pool and hot tub area is so great to have because we had colder weather than expected. The dock out back was a fun place to sit and relax when it was warm enough! Overall loved the house and host was great. Easy to get in and out and will probably book again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay! Pros: -swimming pool and hot tub right off the main family room was so fun and convenient!-plenty of space in the home-10 minute walk to a nice, not crowded beach-canal directly behind the house to fish, trap crabs, and sit out and enjoy the sunset-great AC in the homeCons:-home is older and could use updating-not enough pans for cooking (would be so nice to have more non-stick pans)-we could not heat the pool and hottub at the same time. Just one or the other.

Indoor pool and hot tub were a hit! Chengan was a wonderful host, very responsive and answered all our questions very quickly. It was very cold when we stayed so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside or beach but the view was beautiful.Would stay again.

We loved our stay at Du Casa! Location was perfect and the home was spacious, well equipped and clean. The pool table was our favorite amenity and provided much entertainment. We were at the property for Christmas and the host was so thoughtful and had decorated and put up a tree. I couldn’t be happier with our experience. The location near Grandview wildlife are was a plus and we enjoyed the outdoors!

Birthday beach house

The house was amazing truly! I’m so glad I got the chance to get together with my family and friends. We all live across America now that we are grown-up and this is a great chance to get to see everyone. Wish we got a chance to use the pool. But besides that the place was perfect and great walking distance from the beach.

I booked this for a 50th birthday getaway with some couples and friends. The house was just as listed, plenty of space, clean and a lovely outdoor space. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub as well as other games and local activities. The beach was a short walk away. Our host was excellent to work with. He communicated promptly and showed us some flexibility with check in and check out. Located 17 minutes from the Hampton Coliseum where we had concert tickets for the weekend. Highly recommend renting with this property owner.

There were a few minor blips, but overall it was a nice house, great location, the pool was wonderful. Would have liked it to be more secure. The locks on the doors from the house to the pool didn't work and the locks from the pool to the outside didn't work. The owner was quick to respond with most matters. It was clean, and a very big house! Would recommend staying

We chose this location because it was close to where our son was graduating from ARMY AIT at FORT EUSTIS, VIRGINIA. We had a great experience, and the property was close to a lot of locations in the area. We were a 10 minute drive to the beach and enjoyed the view from the Peirs, where we were able to watch people fishing.The Property was more than large enough to accommodate our family of four. It was very nice to have our entire family under one roof and everyone have their own room and bathroom as supposed to a hotel where we we would be separated for the majority of the time. The view from the backyard was amazing, and once we discovered the crab pots on site, my son spent almost every morning and night harvesting crabs from the boat dock. My wife and I enjoyed a 10 minute stroll through the wildlife preserve which led to a gorgeous beach that would seem almost private because nobody else was out there. It was a great pleasure, knowing that we had an indoor pool and hot tub just to ourselves that we could visit anytime during our stay. Communication with property manager was excellent. We were able to text or call if we had any questions about the property, with great response time. Overall, we had an amazing stay at this location. The neighborhood is very secluded and private so if you’re looking for a little getaway from things, I would highly recommend it.

Great Get Away Place to Stay

We rented this property for our annual Christmas in Virginia in January trip. I was exactly as described on VRBO. Chengan was a very good host and very helpful. He met us at the property to go over information about the pool and spa and security cameras. He left his phone number to contact if we had any issues. He even had two Christmas trees set up for our use. Everyone enjoyed the pool and spa and the pool table. We walked to the nature preserve which was at the end of street. Just a quick walk through the preserve, and we were on the beach. Talk about hidden gems! There were plenty of bedrooms and beds for our group. There was also three cots in the closets to use if needed. The house is located outside of Hampton and is about 1/2 hour from local attractions/historical sites. All in all, it was the perfect place to hold our annual family get together. We all just wished we had more time there. I would definitely stay at this property again.

The house is very spacious in a quiet neighborhood and yet still convenient to get groceries/dine out. We enjoyed seeing the area's wildlife and spending time at the beach. The pool and hot tub were perfect for the days we wanted to stay in and relax, and my family greatly enjoyed putting together some of the puzzles in the home in between activities. Owners' communication is prompt and kind and we had a very nice stay.

Admittedly I was very surprised with how cleanliness of their home. I was not sure about the process of entering the property and called Mr. Chengan. He called me right back and made sure my issue was resolved. The instructions in the binder were straight forward and easy to understand. We were in a very quiet neighborhood and also within 15 minutes of beaches and restaurants. Everyone in our group were complementary of the size and comfort. We are looking forward to staying at Waterfront Escape again.
