Banner View Cabin located in Banner Elk, NC is a brand new Escape Cottage overlooking the beautiful valley of Elk River Club. This cozy 1,000 square foot cottage is everything you need for a fun weekend getaway!

This home is equipped with GE appliances, Skybest cable TV, internet, washer/dryer, a fully stocked kitchen and a dining area that will sit 4-6 people. Each bedroom has a King size bed and a full bathroom. Two outside seating areas including a multi tiered deck with hot tub.

The town of Banner Elk has four distinct seasons, and offers fun family activities all year long. As winter begins, Banner Elk helps thousands of families each year start a family tradition with many Choose-N-Cut farms for travelers to get a Christmas tree. Once the holiday festivities are over, the area becomes a ski town. Known as the Ski Capitol of the South, winter sports enthusiasts flock to the area for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing at the area's larger resorts, Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain which are both located only a few miles away! Spring and summer in Banner Elk is the perfect time to get out of the city heat. Enjoy a relaxing drive, hike, or picnic on the Blue Ridge Parkway, or take a trip to Grandfather Mountain. For outdoor enthusiasts, Banner Elk is home to many rafting and fishing outfitters, hiking and biking trails, and distinct golf courses. Wildcat Lake is also open to the public, and offers swimming, canoeing, and much more! Come see what the beautiful mountains of North Carolina have to offer!

Sleeping Accommodations: Both bedrooms have a king size bed with a Queen size sleeper sofa in living room. Will sleep total of 6 people!

- Community firepit next to the river (firewood ordered would be delivered to the home, *not* the River Club. There is no firepit at the home)
- Homeowners have exterior camera pointing at the driveway. No cameras monitor the inside or other exterior parts of the home.
- 2,000 feet of private, pristine headwaters of the Elk River for catch & release fishing of trophy trout
- Stocked fishing ponds for catch & release fishing

What a view

Such a nice place to stay. Close to everything but so quiet. We absolutely loved it. We had so much fun hiking, eating and trying the wineries!

Great place to Stay

Did a quick getaway with the kids to NC mountain and our stay at Blue Ridge was perfect! The cabin came with everything except food and was very clean. Looking forward to renting it again next year!

Great, except the grill.

We really like this rental, but the grill is totally unacceptable. New, it couldn’t have cost more than $50-60. Very low, and uneven, heat. I couldn’t determine if it was broken,or just cheap. We couldn’t even cook hamburgers on it, much less steaks. We’ve stayed at this property 3 times, and we won’t be back unless we can confirm the grill has been replaced by one more consistent to how nice this property is in all other respects.
