Perfect Location, Clean and Cozy
Our group reserved for 5 nights in September for the Ironman triathlon event. The house was the perfect home base in terms of location: easy walk or short drive to both Gerry Boyle Park and downtown Long Wharf and all restaurants. The owner provided a detailed and clear check-in list along with restaurant recommendations which was a thoughtful touch. The home and property was neat and clean when we arrived and had all the amenities of home, particularly the kitchen, which was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils since we planned to cook a couple meals in the house. The bedrooms/bath were well stocked with towels and soap/shampoo and the beds themselves were very comfortable. One of the best perks was the central air conditioning system for each of the 3 floors of the home. It was simple and easy to adjust and worked flawlessly. This was important because the week we arrived was very hot and humid. The neighboring homes (and the folks that live there) were also very friendly and quiet, which was the type of living environment we were hoping for in advance of the triathlon race. I would not hesititate to rent this property again if we return to Cambridge and I highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the Cambridge area.

Wedding Weekend in Cambridge
Extremely comfortable house with a great layout and all of the accoutrements you will need. We like to cook. Grilled swordfish on the grill with cocktails on the back patio. Close to downtown and the shops, restaurants and brew-pub. We will be back. Thank you Neil!

Enjoyable Stay
Our family group of 11 stayed in this home in September. We had a wonderful visit to the Eastern Shore to connect with family and old friends. Having a big house like this made our stay very enjoyable. We loved having breakfasts together and enjoyed one dinner around the fire pit! Our grandchildren said the house was "humongous" and loved sleeping in the attic room! Thanks so much!

Large House - Perfect for a big group
The house was amazing and perfect for our group at IMMD. The number of rooms meant that everyone had plenty of space without being on top of each other, and the backyard was perfet to hang out when some wanted to go to bed earlier than others. The kitchen was great and well stocked with any gadget you could want. We loved it!

Lovely home - great for a group of adults
We had a 'team retreat' for our operation and we were able to find ways to hold meetings, break-out groups and more during the "work" part of our day. The location was great for roaming Cambridge by foot. Charming home. Lovely hosts.

Beautiful home, graceous owners
What a lovely restored home to call our home base while exploring the Eastern Shore. Not far from downtown (a quick walk), nice and friendly restaurants nearby, and a short drive to Easton and St. Michaels.

Beautiful Home & Excellent Service
This family has a gorgeous home! I would definitely book this property again. The home is spacious, clean and well decorated, not to mention it has all the amenities you need! Our guest had a great time for the weekend and we made use of the backyard space, which is furnished beautifully. The owner is detailed oriented, provides great instructions and has an answer for anything that could potentially come up. I highly recommend booking this property if you're looking to make a trip to the Eastern shore.

Impressive Historic Home in Cambridge.
Great home that met our large family's needs. I particularly admired the choice of antiques in each room. There was enough room on each floor that we were not "stepping all over each other". The kitchen has an abundance of cookware, coffee makers, etc that you would not have to leave the home other than for groceries. The back yard has been updated and the men spent time outside playing games. There were lots of toys to accomodate the little ones. The owners are easy to work with and answer any questions you may have. Wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks for sharing your home.

Great house for a large group
We had a party of 13 (actually 16 and had to overflow to the apartment across the street) traveling for a bike tour of the Eastern Shore. The location was perfect for easy access to downtown, restaurants, ride routes, etc. The house is very spacious for a large party. We didn't run out of room for anyone during meals or social gatherings and everyone had a bed to sleep in---a big plus for large groups and there were even some children beds and a twin that was never used! We loved the outside (Backyard) area and spent every evening recapping our days over wine and beer under the trees on the great sitting area that was bricked. The house was well stocked (too well stocked, we had a hard time finding room for our groceries int the refrigerator!) with food, spices, condiments and pots, pans and dishes. The house was quiet, beds and furniture were comfy and everyone slept well. The landlord was very friendly, helpful, responsive and accommodating from the initial sourcing process. She added temporary blinds to the windows to shield the bright sunlight in the upstairs loft/attic, arranged a special trash pick up as the trash is only removed once a week and with 13 people we accumulated a lot of trash within a few days. Helped with some tips on the A/C, restaurant and food recommendations, etc. Closet space to hang clothes and food space were the only minor obstacles as the owner lives in the unit when not rented...so a lot of stuff in the house. Very homey and comfortable, though. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will consider renting this house again for a large group if I am in the area again!

Beautiful comfortable home in quiet historic neighborhood
Perfect for our group of friends who got together for a wedding nearby. The house, the grounds, and the neighborhood are beautiful. The house is within walking distance to shops, galleries and restaurants. The home offered very comfortable rooms and a great kitchen for cooking and hanging out. The owner was very accessible and pleasant to work with. She made sure we had everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

Absolutely Delightful !
Our stay at this property was very delightful. The home was large enough to for our group of 10. The house was clean and well maintained. It had a Victorian charm that gave it a warm homelike "lived-in" appearance. The kitchen was updated to meet today's needs with modern appliances . The home was well equipped with plenty of supplies for the beds and baths to meet the needs of the group. During our visit the owner was completing a lovely brick patio with an outside grill that would serve as a place for a great family cook-out with room for other outside activities. The home was located in a somewhat quiet community but with some street activity. Being walking distance to the beach, made it very convenient for those who wanted to take a morning or afternoon stroll. It was great to wake up in the morning to hear the singing of birds. The owner was very helpful in providing us with information on nearby restaurants, stores, hospitals, historical sites, and other points of interests to enhance our visit. This is a home that we would consider revisiting again. We would highly recommend it to our relatives and friends.
