Description: Located in the beautiful development of Echota, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom top floor (stair access only) with loft condo is perfect for your next vacation. This condo is fully furnished with everything you would need for a long retreat or a short weekend getaway. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals and the living room is inviting with a gas log fireplace and mountain view. Curl up, get cozy and read a book, watch TV or take a nap…. the choice is yours! Guests of this unit have access to the deck from the living room or primary bedroom where they can breathe in fresh mountain air and listening to the sounds of nature. Enjoy a short mountain getaway to relax or an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer. 

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Clean and comfortable

This property worked well for our family and kept us very comfortable. The finishings were nice and the property was sparkling clean. The pool was a nice amenity for our children to enjoy. I would certainly stay here again and I would certainly recommend it to others!

This was about a beautiful, clean and comfortable property. It was spacious and almost felt like a private cabin. The pool was perfect for our toddler with almost a zero depth entry and plenty of shallow water to play in. The kitchen was just what we needed to cook some meals and save some money. We enjoyed how close it was to Boone and grandfather winery. I didn’t realize but they text the code once you book and if you need to reach the host after business hours (5pm) it’s difficult to get ahold of anyone. We also had to turn on the hot water and the pilot for the fireplace was not lit. If you don’t mind handling things on your own and no communication after hours this place is great for a family getaway!

This was actually our second time staying at this property. Cheteola Provides many great things for guests to enjoy. On our second stay there there was a water main break in the city which affected their units and was completely out of their control. They refunded our last night stay without even asking. They were very willing to help with whatever we needed. I will continue to stay here when I am in town

Long winter weekend in the mountains.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great, not too far up the mountain but high enough for some good views. I wouldn't be too concerned going back and forth in the snow since it isn't too far up the mountain. It was close to the pool too. The location is also close to and central to the number of attractions in the area, including Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and ski resorts. Check in and check out were a breeze. It is a good unit for a family with the loft upstairs with two beds. Though I would suggest not having very young children in the loft since the door to the attic does not lock. If I had one recommendation it would be to add some hooks in the bathrooms for towels and some in the hallway for coats. We had a great experience and would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had what we needed. The fireplace was nice apres’ ski along with the extra blankets we found in the closet. When we had an issue with the TV settings, we were able to get assistance from the rental service.

Quiet Mountain Stay

This rental was centrally located to all of the activities we wanted to do. It was clean and quiet with enough space for our family (2 adults, a teen, and a preteen) to spread out. The kitchen setup was a little tight if several people were in the space but overall it was well equipped and everything worked well. While the dishwasher works fine, it was much louder than we're used to - definitely think about running it while you're out during the day instead of turning it on right before everyone goes to bed. We'd definitely stay here again in the future.
