Everything about this place was awesome. The location was great since it was in between the north and south side so we could visit both without too much time in the car. The place was clean, had amazing ocean views and had everything we needed. Even beach chairs and boogie boards. The location was on a beach walking/running trail which was nice since I was training for a marathon. The hosts were top notch with communication on anything we needed. We would stay here anytime we visit Kauai.

Enjoyed our week long stay at the Pono Kai resort. Only issue we had was with the keyless entry since directions on outside of the door wasn’t clear but email instructions from owner helped.

We’re so glad you enjoyed your week at Pono Kai and that the resort was a good fit for your stay! Thank you for noting the keyless entry — since your visit, we’ve replaced the lock with a newer, easier-to-use system so future guests will have an even smoother arrival. We appreciate your feedback and would love to host you again anytime!
