Charming Original Lake Norman Cabin in Great Location - Come relax and enjoy!

If you are looking for the true lake living experience on a budget - this 864 square foot cabins offers everything you could need for a great vacation. The location is fantastic nestled in the heart of multi-million dollar homes and properties. It's almost hard to believe this little gem still exist here.

The private yard is populated with large trees and offers a big natural sandy beach with big cove/island views. The cabin itself has a really neat old stone fireplace, comfortable furniture & beds, and clean. It is well stocked with free coffee, spices, cooking utensils, linens, towels and everything you might need.

There are TV's in both bedrooms as well as the living room with Netflix and to YouTube TV to enjoy High Speed WiFi for your other devices.

Enjoy your complimentary morning coffee in the large screen room or the deck watching the ducks, geese and the occasional herd of deer. Although tempting, we ask you please Do Not feed any of them :)

At lunch time fire up the Gas Weber BBQ grill or the charcoal grill to cook your favorite foods. The Horseshoe pits and corn hole games will keep you entertained when you are tired of swimming in the lake.

The Private dock offers a seating area and a jetski port available for your use if you rent or bring your own PWC. Great fishing here also with rods and tackle provided for your use. 3 kayak with one being a double for your use and a paddle board.

This will be a clean environment for you to come enjoy the lake. Rest Assured! We also offer a very relaxed cancellation policy.

Perfect in every way!

We were looking for a lakefront vacation spot near our daughter and other family who live in around the Charlotte area. This was perfect! The beach, dock. kayaks and paddleboard, and outdoor area in general provided fun for all! The cozy cabin was clean and offered all the creature comforts we needed. We found everything to be as stated in the listing and would definitely stay here again! Though we didn't need anything from the host, Scott was easy to work with and friendly! Thank you!

Great little cabin!

Cozy Cottage Vacay

Great location! The accommodations were comfortable. The lake is steps away from property. Awesome deck for fishing or hanging out. Fishing rods, kayaks, paddle boards, horseshoes, fire pit and cornhole. We highly recommend.

Wonderful lake vacation!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this lake house. Cozy Cabin was peaceful and offered wonderful views of Lake Norman. We paddled in the kayaks each day, walked the neighborhood and enjoyed a campfire each night. Scott is a great host and we will most definitely return. Thank you Scott! We had such a nice stay! Quiet cozy stay

Absolutely loved spending the week here! The beach was awesome, the screened porch was great for mornings and evenings, and we used the grill daily. There are tons of deer which was exciting to see in the yard. The self check-in was very welcoming on arrival with simple touches waiting for us. Host was responsive and even notified when it would be ready a little early for checkin. Note that this is a 3-season cabin and there is a dewy scent if you are sensitive. Would definitely return for a nice staycation close to Charlotte. And highly recommend the Lowe’s grocery store! Very posh!

A week of quiet

What I really enjoyed about this place was the size of your own personal beach. The kids could swim in the shallow end or jump off the pier in the deep end. The cabin is secluded under neath the trees. The location and cabin were perfect for what we needed - a week alone. The only thing I would suggest adding a ladder to the pier. Overall, Great clean lake and place to be at.

Charming cabin

This was our second vacation at this property. Its charm made us come back. It has a great dock and a beach. Spent every morning on the screened in porch. Watched the sunsets either from the dock or went out on our boat. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed kayaking early in the morning and later in the evening.Also enjoyed watching the deer every morning and evening roam the property. Will definitely be back! Lots of great memories made here!

Quiet and Peaceful

THE most beautiful lake in an upscale area. The cabin looks to be an original before there were fine houses at most lots. But it’s exactly what we were looking for! It took me back to the days of my youth, going to the lake cottages of my friends’cabins. There I learned to water ski. There is privacy from large wooded areas between each lot. You can’t see the neighbors houses, only their piers & boathouses. It would have been fun to take the flat board or kayaks out, but we’re a little (caugh caugh) past that age! The screen porch is where we spent most of our time, reading & watching the deer, squirrels, a baby bunny & even a fox one morning crossing thru the yard. We ate some great meals out. We particularly liked Havanna 33 and Eddie’s. It would be fun if you have a jet ski or a patio boat. The lake is perfect for couples looking for serenity or a family enjoying water activities.The house is old but comfortable

Loved it :)

We decided to change up our usual beach trip and head to a lake this summer. I was looking for a lake house with beach access as well as a dock and this cottage fit the bill! The lot was beautiful and the house perfect for our needs. Scott answered all my questions almost immediately, and even provided a shower chair for my husband! The kids loved the kayaks and paddle board. They spent hours jumping off the dock - a ladder for getting back on the dock would be my only suggestion, but they figured out a way to get back up and it made them extra tired which is a win in my book 😊 A previous renter commented on the ants, and we experienced this too - but I think the rain pushed them in, and as a beach rental owner myself, I know there is not much that can be done to prevent this in an older home. It certainly did not negatively affect our experience at all. We hope to return next year, overall, an incredible first lake house experience!

Great cabin

Loved the cabin. It was exactly as portrayed in the listing. the private lake access and your own pier were a huge plus. While being right off the main roads and in a populated area, you really feel secluded and private in the location. Grilled out and used the paddle board and kayaks. Nice peacefull vacation. Rental communication was great, all questions answered quick.

Fantastic once again!

This was the third time we stayed at the Cozy Cabin and our stay was absolutely wonderful. We spent hours just floating around enjoying Lake Norman. The location is perfect for entertainment and restaurants. Hope to be back again soon!

Peaceful Family Vacation

Our family of 5 and lab enjoyed a peaceful week at the Cozy Cabin. This home is in a quiet cove with a private beach. We were able to dock our boat and have it easily accessible for daily use. The neighborhood is located on a loop and made a lovely daily walk (we saw a lot of deer!). As for the home itself... we were thoughtfully welcomed with a bottle of wine, microwave popcorn, fresh bag of coffee, a bag of ice, and bowls and treats for our dog. The house was clean and fully stocked with necessities for the week (paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, even first aid kits!). Most of the time these types of supplies are limited so it felt like an extra special touch to not need to purchase our own. We cooked 3 meals most days and had all of the proper utensils and appliances for doing so. Our three kids happily shared a bedroom and bathroom, and we had plenty of family space in the main living area, including the screened in back porch. We enjoyed using the kayaks and SUP a few times and fishing from the dock. Scott was responsive to questions and helpful throughout the week. Overall, this was a gem and we hope to return next year!

Amazing Lake Stay

Ants everywhere

Yard was infested with visible ants piles everywhere and large black ants visibly moving everywhere in drive. Ants in kitchen. Opened a box of donuts to find them covered in ants. Ants on counter, in sink, and in cupboards. Could not use counter at all and had to wash every dish immediately before using it to be sure it was clean. Great location otherwise but needs regular exterminator service for the yard and house

Wonderful stay at Lake Norman

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing and peaceful place to spend a few days away from our hectic life. We were so lucky to find Scott’s Cozy Cabin. We spent 5 nights at the cabin with our 9 year old Chocolate Lab. Not only did my husband and I enjoy every minute's of our stay, but our dog had a great time too! Our only regret was that we weren’t able to stay longer. Book this cabin if you are looking for a quiet place to stay on Lake Norman, I guarantee you will not regret it. Thanks, Scott for being such a great host and also for the very thoughtful welcoming gifts for us and our dog. We hope to return sometime soon.

Perfect Getaway

Everything was immaculate when we arrived and the view was breathtaking. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay, the welcome package was an added surprise and our cat Lilly enjoyed her little treat as well. Seeing the deer and little red fox each day made our getaway even more memorable.

Place to relax

This is a great little place. Absolutely as described. Its so quiet and the fishing from the dock is pretty good. Scott was great and his housekeeper is super extremely organized. I would definitely stay again. Give it a thought.

Exactly what we needed

Cabin was everything we were looking for. Cabin description was exactly as presented. Added plus was we were able to bring our dog. The private and quiet area was perfect for relaxing. Especially enjoyed the beach and boat dock where we watched sunsets each evening over the lake. Definitely would love to visit again.

Girls weekend

We loved the cabin and the surrounding areas. The lake is beautiful! We sat at the gazebo and visited for hours… It was fun and peaceful. We highly recommend this place.

The property description said there was a hut tub. No hot tub on property. Please remove that from your listing. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay.

Full Disclosure - I am helping my friend rent this property until he is ready to build his dream home. The added bonus is the super cool antique cottage that graces it's shoreline. I used to live across the street from this cabin for over 13 years and spent many a day swimming at the beach, playing poker and horseshoes, fishing off the dock, and relaxing with a cocktail around a fire. It's a fantastic place to experience Lake Norman set in an incredible location. It's the perfect place to stay and play, with the dock available for you to use whether you rent or bring your own watercraft. Kayaks are provided, fishing poles, and everything inside you could need.

What makes this property unique

Located down an original lake road in the heart of The Point Community that Features the Trump International Golf Club Charlotte. You get to enjoy all the beauty when driving into the property and then enjoying your own heavily wooded and private cabin with a great cove view. It's one of the few properties on the lake with a natural sandy beach. The owner also created a sandy beach on shore to enjoy which is being professionally beachscaped spring of 2021. You can't go wrong vacationing in this property for almost what it costs to stay in a stuffy hotel.
