Spacious and Modern Home Near NRG & Medical Center

Welcome to the DEAL house!

This newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house is perfectly situated in Houston. Whether its the Houston Rodeo, a Texans game, or catching a great concert, our proximity to NRG can't be beat! The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood on a tree lined street. Our home is a 1 mile walk to NRG. Its a 2 mile or 10 minute drive to the Texas Medical Center and close to 15 minute drive to downtown Houston. We're also a 10 minute drive to the Galleria.

Check Out Guidelines:

Check out is before 11AM.
Please pile all used towels and sheets in the laundry room. Please do not remove any mattress covers.
Please load the dishwasher with all used items.
Turn off all lights, including the backyard lights.
Take all trash to the outside trash bins. We recycle, so please keep all non recyclables out of the green bin.
Set the AC to 75 Auto.
Lock all external doors.

Trash Guidelines
Trash pick up is every Thursday. If your stay falls on a Wednesday, please pull both bins to the curb by WEDNESDAY EVENING so the trash can be picked up during your stay.

AC Guidelines
The AC must remain on AUTO at all times. Please do not change to ON.
Please do not lower the AC below 69 as it will freeze the system and will not work.
If these guidelines are not followed, you may be charged for repairs.

It was so nice after a long day of work to come back to this cozy house and quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again, the location was close to town and Maryam was a great host!

This place was perfect. We got a ride to the game (too hot to walk) and we walked back. I'm in my 60's and my husband is in his 70's and the walk was smooth and safe. We will stay here again.

This was a nice place to stay. Updated, very clean, newer kitchen and bathrooms. I loved that the bedrooms could be closed off with doors for noise control. I loved the neighborhood - great for walking and running - near path. Good beds and showers.

Great vacation home in quiet neighborhood

I came to town to have surgery with my family and we enjoyed staying at this house. It is located in a beautiful and quiet neighbor which was great for my recovery and going for daily walks. Very conveniently located to stores and the medical facilities. Also had plenty of room for my 3 kids to be able to play while I could relax back separated in the master bedroom. Lots of linens were also provided which was perfect for me in needing to keep everything clean and sanitized. Thank you for giving us a home away from home during our stay.

The owner double booked us and I didn't find out until just before I boarded my flight.

Very disappointed in this situation. Because they double booked us, my friends and I were homeless in Houston. All the owner could do was say I'm sorry.....sorry didn't find us a place to stay. Owner states she didn't know, however you received payment from two different people for the exact same dates, so how could you not know. All I can say is triple check your booking

Not Family Friendly

The house was perfect for our needs...if you don't mind being watched. The host decided we had too many people in the house on the first day, reported me to VRBO, suggested she could evict us, and tried to charge us an additional 1200. She never communicated with me, not once. After I spoke with VRBO, they looked at her Ring video and understood that my adult kids came to meet us and take us to rodeo. My son lives nearby which was the whole reason we chose the house. I told her that in the reservation.  Even though the 3 bedroom house sleeps 6 we were only allowed 4 people on the property because the rez indicated 4 would be staying. Guests were not welcome. My 4 kids had to wait in the car when they came to pick us up. This was beyond disappointing. A terrible experience which defeats the whole purpose of VRBO.

Braeswood Place

The home was as shown in the photos. The cons: We had a bit of a problem closing the door that leads from backyard into garage, and a few other doors stick, but we managed to get them to close. The screens had been removed from all windows but one. We could not get the dishwasher to work. An area of the step up to the deck had broken, and could be a tripping hazard. The toaster was dirty. There were a few minor things that need minor repairs, or their cleaning staff could’ve wiped down better, but nothing gross or major. If we’d known the Tiki torches were out, we would have brought some. The lightbulb in the den needs replacing. The pros: We loved the deck, the deck lights, the location, the layout of the home, and the fact that Maryam provided us a handheld mixer and jelly roll pan. The beds are comfy. The checkout directions were much easier than at other places we’ve stayed. The living area has ample, comfortable seating, warm throws, and lots of good table space. There were all kinds of things in the pantry and the kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and gadgets. The principle areas, like bathrooms, insides of appliances, and floors were all very clean. We would stay here again, and would recommend it to others. The bayou was fun for a walk, fish and bird-watching. You could also ride bikes there. We had a nice time here.

Great location

The house had plenty of space and was in a nice neighborhood. It was well stocked. You can tell they are still remodeling it to get it more modern as there was a sticker outside the window from the inspections department and some items are not up to date.

Good stay

The house was very clean and spacious. The neighborhood and location was great. The kitchen equipment was limited but sufficient for our needs. Other reviews mentioned the construction. It was largely not a problem but the lack of siding on the master bedroom wall made that room cold when the weather turned cool. Communication with the host was very easy.
