Fantastic beach front town house, Arenal de´n Castell, Minorca

House on the magnificent beach of Arenal d'en Castell located on the north coast of Menorca. This two storey property has been recently renovated in a sailor design, very in keeping with its beachfront location. On the ground floor there is a lounge with an open plan kitchen and breakfast bar which leads out onto a spectacular terrace looking out over the beach, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and bathroom. On the top floor there is a self contained apartment with separate access which comprises a kitchen, dining room with small terrace and double bedroom with double bed and bathroom. The property has fans on the ground floor and air conditioning in the apartment upstairs with television and DVD players on both floors. Enjoying these delightful views with only the turquoise sea for company is a pleasure not to be missed.
Arenal d´en Castell is located at 20 km by road from the capital city of Mahón, with its great Port and its International Airport. The Urbanisation has fully comprehensive facilities and many green and sports spaces. Likewise, it boasts bus and taxi services, as well as restaurants, bars, pubs, pharmacy, medical centre, bank, car rental offices etc.
This bay is the ideal place to enjoy some days with your family or to spend a long holiday while practising your favourite sport: golf, sailing, water skiing, diving, windsurf etc. The Son Parc Golf Club is only 10 minutes away by road and the Yachting Marina of Port Addaya is just 5 minutes from the Urbanisation.The beach of Arenal d´en Castell is a beautiful shell-shaped cove of almost 1 km long, with crystal clear water and fine sand. It is particularly appropriate for children, thanks to its transparent water and the tranquillity if affords.

Great Location
This property is in a perfect location, but parking can be very difficult due to all of the beach traffic. It was difficult to find parking close to the condo and, once when we did, our car was blocked in for an entire day. The terrace is really the highlight of this condo as it looks over the beach as the photo’s show. There is a supermarket nearby so we found it easy to buy groceries and have dinner on the terrace most night’s with the best view of the bay! Couple downsides: Wi-Fi did not reach to upstairs bedroom, only one set of towels for each guest for the entire week and very flat pillows. We also did not find the place to be as clean as most VRBO’s we have stayed. Could use a deep cleaning which would help with the ants.

Très bon logement, avec une vue incroyable sur la baie, plage très accessible, pas de rue devant la terrasse. Excellent endroit pour des vacances en famille. Nous y reviendrons sans aucun doute !! Idées d'amélioration : ventilateur un peu bruyant dans le séjour, pas possible de le couper car il est couplé à celui de la chambre des enfants, pas de clim au rez-de-chaussée donc il faut laisser les ventilateurs fonctionner en permanence.
