The home has a beautiful deck with lots of options for seating. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings out there as well as evening visits as well. The hosts were very accommodating and everything was clean and ready for us. The little touched made our stay very special.

The Cozy Cottage was a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing place to stay. We especially appreciated the thoughtful personal touches that made our visit feel warm and welcoming, truly like a home away from home. The deck overlooking the water was incredibly peaceful and the perfect spot to unwind, while the fireplace made the cool evenings feel extra cozy and inviting.Thank you for the relaxing away from home experience that a hotel stay could never match.

Completed a nice stay at Host’s cottage along the Loyalhanna Creek in Ligonier, PA. The cottage provided the perfect access to family and activities in the greater Ligonier area.

First, the location is perfect, overlooking a beautiful creek. As soon as we entered, we could see that the cottage was immaculate. Nicely decorated, with everything we needed for our stay - it's small but mighty! The hosts were very communicative and thoughtful in the days leading up to our trip, and promptly answered the few questions we had. Since this trip was planned to allow my writing colleague and I to complete final revisions on our novel, we especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful scenery. Absolutely perfect, and we plan to come again!

Over do weekend away

Good location over looking the Creek. The Cottage is well maintained and has everything one might expect with this type of rental property. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend for a couple wanting to get away. The bonus is its close to Town that has a lot to offer.

Great place to just sit and do nothing

We had an enjoyable time here doing nothing and sitting on the deck. The owners are great to work with and very helpful. The cottage is close to the town if things are needed.

Perfect spot near Ligonier

We loved our stay at this riverfront cottage that is extremely clean and thoughtfully decorated. The home is so well stocked with everything you could need and the deck overlooking the river is amazing. It is a short drive into the quaint town of Ligonier. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the cabin. We were joined by our two grandchildren who slept on the pullout beds. The deck overlooking the creek was such a peaceful spot. The hosts thought of everything. This cottage is exactly as described. Definitely Cozy and Comfortable! Very clean and decorated with such charm that you feel at home right away. Doug and Betty are excellent hosts, very responsive and go over and above with all of their special accommodations. Enjoyed our stay while celebrating Ligonier Days.

Wonderful Birthday Getaway!

We had a lovely time staying at the Cozy Cottage for my birthday! We especially loved the gas fireplace and the deck overlooking the Loyalhanna. The owners stock the cabin very thoughtfully, even down to ingredients for s'mores! They also knew it was my birthday weekend so they even had a cake waiting for me! Their hospitality exceeded our expectations.

Great cottage

The cabin was perfect for our needs. It was central to everything we wanted to do. Very clean and stocked extremely well. The hosts were more than accommodating and very quick to respond. They even left us treats!!! Love this place on a beautiful creek. You won't be dissapointed!

Outstanding property

Out of all the VRBO properties we have stayed at, this was head and shoulders above the rest. Doug and Betty are consummate hosts. The property was immaculate; the location was perfect along a stream. They provided more perks for our stay than we have ever gotten at a rental property, including fresh fruit! We strongly recommend this property!

Hospitality on Loyalhanna Creek near Ligonier

Clean, large cottage near Ligonier Farmer's market and Hungarian restaurant (Darlington Inn) with charming patio over big creek filled with ducklings and goslings! I could go running up Clark's Run Rd. Super stocked with coffees, smore's and 2 cinnamon rolls. Very responsive owners!
